Данное пособие предназначено для учителей английского языка, работающих по УМК «Enjoy English - 3» авт. Биболетова М.З. и др. и разработано по европейским технологиям «Schoolhouse Technologies».Целью данного пособия является расширение лингвистического кругозора учащихся 5 -6 классов, развитие личностных качеств учащихся, их внимания, мышления, памяти в процессе моделирования учебных ситуаций, логическое использование лексики в речевых ситуациях по тематике, предложенной авторами УМК «Enjoy English - 3».Для контроля сформированности лингвострановедческого кругозора учащихся необходимо использовать различные типы заданий, т.к. это «стимулирует деятельность учащихся, повышает их ответственность, мобилизует их усилия интеллектуального, волевого и эмоционального плана».В данном пособии представлены разнообразные виды лексических упражнений, которые учитель может использовать на уроках английского языка в 5-6 классах по учебнику “Enjoy English-3”. Введение

Одно из условий успешного общения на иностранном языке надоступном детям уровне – качественно сформированныелексические навыки, которые являются важным компонентом содержания обучения английскому языку.Практика показывает, что примерно к середине обучения в школе,встает проблема повышения эффективности обучения лексике. Это вызвано тем, что у учащихся накапливается определенный лексический запас, но им становится все труднее запоминать новые слова и сохранять их в памяти. Начинается процесс забываниялексических единиц. В связи с этим страдает качество речи (как устной, так и письменной), так как оно находится в прямой зависимости от сформированности лексических навыков. Кроме того, расширяющийся круг ситуаций общения требует большего объема лексических единиц и более прочных лексических навыков.Таким образом, нарастает необходимость увеличения словаря учащихся, более качественного подбора тренировочных упражнений для запоминания и сохранения лексических единиц в памяти каждого учащегося и организации более интенсивной тренировки в их употреблении для создания учащимися самостоятельных речевых ситуаций.

Missing Letters in Text

There are letters missing in the text below. Fill-in the blanks with the letters needed to spell each word correctly.

Cloze

Cloze exercises are generated from any block of text. every 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, or 10th word is hidden. 

Cryptogram

Entire blocks of text are encrypted and a decoder provided. 

Punctuation

In an exercise in punctuation students must supply the missing punctuation in a block of text. 

 

Spelling Challenge

In a group of similar words only one is spelled correctly and matches the clue that is provided. Write the letter of the correctly spelled word in the space by the question number.

Mixed-Up Text

In each paragraph the sentences are out of order. Determine the correct order for the sentences in the paragraph, and write the correct order number for each sentence on the blank space provided.
