Holidays Date Attributes

Christmas On the 25th of December there is the greatest holiday of all in England – Christmas. People send X- mas cards and presents to their friends and relatives. People buy a Christmas tree and decorate it.

New Year New Year is on the 31st of December. People see with friends and relatives. People decorate new year tree and give presents.

Mother’s day In 8th of March there is a holiday for women – Mother’s Day. On that day they visit their mothers, sisters and give them presents ,flowers and Cards.

Easter In 1st of May people celebrate Easter Day. On Easter Sunday children get colored eggs and cakes.

Teacher’s day Teachers' Day is a special day for the of teachers, with celebrations concerts .Students give presents and flowers to teachers. It is celebrated in October

Nauryz «Nauryz» means «spring's born». This old festival is in March. People have fun, games, horses races and other jollity. The main ritual course is Nauryzkozhe, which consists of 7 ingredients.

May 9th –Victory day On this day people remember their veterans and visit parades. They give veterans flowers. On this day we remember our veterans.

Independence Day December 16th is Independence Day. Most people don’t go to work. Families and friends get together.It is also a day to think about freedom. People have festivals , dress up in traditional costumes.
