Who is Artemisof Ephesus?Artemis is the Greek goddess of hunting, wildlife, fertility, and the moon. The Ephesian version of the goddess was unique, combining features of Artemis and the most ancient Anatolian fertility goddesses.The cult of Artemis in Ephesus was very popular, attracting pilgrims from all over the Mediterranean.
