I.Актуализация знаний

1. Организационный момент

- Good morning! Nice to see you! Sit down, please. How are you?

I’m glad you’re in high spirit. So let’s start. And at first answer some traditional questions.

 What day and date is it today? How’s the weather?

2.Целеполагание

- Now look at the slide. There is a poem. Let’s read it. (слайд 1)

                             Hurray! Hurray! We’re on holiday.

                             Fantastic life, no work, all play

                             On our holiday

                             There’s lots to do and friends who say

                              Forget your books, that’s quite OK,

                              On our holiday.

-         Let’s train your memory. Now I’m going to take some words away and your task is to fill them in. (слайд 2 )

-         Look at the lines once more and try to guess the topic of our lesson.

So the topic of our lesson is Holidays in Great Britain. We will get to know about the greatest British holidays, their main symbols and the ways of their celebrating. ( слайд 3)

-         By the way, do you like holidays? What do they usually mean? ( Holidays usually mean not going to school or work, they also mean nice food, presents and a lot of fun.)

-         Do you know the definition of the word ‘Holiday’? Where does it come from?

-         The fact is the word ‘Holiday’ comes from the Anglo-Saxon ‘holy day’(святой день). At first holidays honored some sacred (священный) events or a holy person. (слайд 4)

-         I’d like to check your homework with the help of the following task:

As we can see there are a lot of holidays in Britain.

2.     Развитие навыков аудирования.

-         Do you like to watch films? Do you want to watch a film right now?

Watch the film attentively and be ready to do the task after it. (слайд 6)

1.     There are a lot of fireworks on Guy Fawkes’ Night.

2.     People don’t eat pancakes on Pancake’s Day.

3.     People usually sign their Valentine’s cards.

4.     Children don’t like Halloween.

5.     People like to spend Christmas with their families.

-         Do you like the film? So do I.

3.     Динамическая пауза. (слайд 8)

- Are you tired? Let’s do physical exercises with an American boy Matt.

- Are you OK now?

4.     Работа в группах. (слайд 9)

- Now let's divide  into 4 groups and do another very interesting task “ Fill in the gaps”. Every group has its own holiday to work with. Besides, you must make a greeting card. You have 5 minutes to do it.

- Ready? Let’s check. ( слайд 10,11,12)

- Thank you for your excellent work!

    5.Выполнение творческого задания с использованием компьютеров.

- Now let’s sit at the computers for doing a creative task. It is ABC Order task.

Put the words in the alphabetic order. Do you remember the English alphabet well?

The words you will work with are on topic Holidays. Is it clear? Let’s start. You have 5 minutes to do it. ( слайд 13 )

-Ready? Let's check. ( слайд 14 )

- Oh I see you know the ABC and  the words about Holidays very well! And I am so happy!

6. Рефлексия. ( слайд 15)

- Now we know everything about the most famous British  holidays.

So it’s high time for us to draw the line of out lesson and to say what you’ve done at this lesson and what you’ve learned to do.

6.     Домашнее задание, подведение итогов. ( слайд16)

- Now open your daybooks and write down your homework. You are to prepare a good report about British holidays. (дети получают карточки, с помощью которых они будут готовить домашнее задание ) ( слайд 17)

- You have worked well today. Your marks for the lesson are… Thank you. The lesson is over. Good bye.

Цели:

Образовательная: Развитие навыка говорения и письменной речи в рамках темы «Праздники»

Развивающие:

1.      Развитие речемыслительной активности учащихся и умения с достаточной точностью выражать свои мысли в соответствии с задачами и условиями коммуникации.

2.      Развитие интереса в решении творческих задач.

3.      Формировать понимание необходимости овладения  английским языком для повседневного общения.

4.      Формирование навыка использования компьютерных технологий на уроке английского языка.

            Воспитательные:

1.      Воспитание интереса и уважения к традициям иноязычной культуры.

2.      Развитие умения работать в группе.

Здоровьесберегающие:

1.      Создание атмосферы психологического комфорта на уроке.

2.      Выполнение релаксационных упражнений.

Задачи:

1.      Практиковать учащихся в диалогической речи в ситуации «Праздники в Великобритании».

2.      Обучать письменной речи с использованием персонального компьютера.

3.      Практиковать учащихся в употреблении ЛЕ по теме: holidays, celebrate, invite, invitation card, give presents, get presents, decorate, cook tasty dishes, bake a cake/ pie, Christmas, Easter, St.Valentine's Day, Women's Day, Mother's Day, Hallowe'en.

4.      Формировать мотивацию учащихся к изучению английского языка через применения компьютерных технологий.

Оборудование: компьютеры с операционной системой Windows, мультимедийный проектор, программные средства: редактор Power Point.

Формы работы: индивидуальная, фронтальная, групповая.
