Инсценировка пьесы Б.Шоу "Пигмалион"

Уважаемое издательство!

Предлагаю Вам адаптированную инсценировку одного из произведений Бернарда Шоу . Она была разработана и подготовлена мною на городской конкурс  знатоков  (г.Снежное ДНР) английского языка среди учащихся 7-8 классов. Целью конкурса было определение уровня владения  коммуникативными навыками участников конкурса. Учитывались и  артистические способности.

Инсценировка получила одобрение членов жюри и зрителей, артисты отмечены грамотами.

Scene 1

(in the street of London)

Mother: Freddy!  You must find a taxi! It’s raining cats and dogs!

Freddy: Taxi! Taxi! (Runs into the florist) Oh? I’m sorry  (Runs away)

Eliza: Oh, he ‘d scattered all my flowers (Gathers flowers into the basket)

Buy the flowers, kind gentleman! They are very nice! Buy them, please! (To the Colonel)

Higgins:(comes up to her and asks her to repeat)

         Please repeat what you have just said.

Eliza:What for? I’m an honest girl. I’m not doing anything bad. I’m only selling flowers!

Higgins: Are you from Lissongrove?

Eliza: Yes, I am. My life was poor there. I have no mother

Colonel: Sorry, how do you know where is she from?

Higgins: I’m Henry Higgins, Professor of phonetics. The girl’s   pronunciation is terrible! Give me 3 months, and she will become a real lady.

 And who are you?

Colonel: I’m Colonel Pickering. I came from India to meet you especially. I know your books very well. I’m very glad to see you. Let’s go to the hotel and have dinner

Higgins: All right, let’s.

Eliza: Hey, Mister Higgins, will you teach me a good language?

Higgins: I don’t want to teach you.

Eliza: (crying, wiping tears with a sleeve) You promised me!

Colonel: Mr. Higgins, I will pay for her education, if she wins the bet.

Eliza: Thank you very much, captain.

Colonel: You will eat sweets every day,

         You will go in a taxi,

         You will wear nice dresses,

         But you must study hard!

Eliza: Oh, thank you! I’ll do everything, you only teach me!!!

                                     Scene 2

(3 months passed. Mrs. And Ms. Hill are at the tea-time table.

Higgins, Colonel Pickering and Eliza enter the room).

Higgins: Good afternoon! Let me introduce you Miss Eliza Doolittle.

Eliza: Good afternoon!

Mother: Good afternoon! I think I’ve seen you somewhere.

Eliza: It’s very pleasant.

Mother: Meet my daughter Clara.

Eliza: Nice to meet you.

Daughter: Will it be raining today?

Eliza: I think there will be no rain. The weather will be good today. Do

you know the poem?

         When the weather is wet, we must not fret,

         When the weather is cold we must not scold,

         When the weather is warm, we must not storm,

         But be thankful together whatever the weather.

Mother : Oh, it’s very interesting!

                   (They are drinking tea, then Higgins looks on his watch, Eliza understands everything.)

                   Oh, it’s time to go home. Good bye, Mrs.Hill! Good bye,

Ms.Hill 

Higgins:Well, I’ve won the bet.

Colonel: Yes, you are !

(They are shaking hands).
