Kazakhstan (2)

I want to tell you about my homeland. My homeland is Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is an independent Republic. It is situated in the Central Asia. Its population, is 16 million. All people of Kazakhstan have equal rights and duties. Astana is the capital of Kazakhstan. The territory of Kazakhstan is huge. It borders on China in the East and the Caspian Sea in the West, Russian in the North and the states of Asia in the South. The republic occupies the territory of more than 2 million square kilometers. . Kazakhstan has 14 regions, 84 cities.
The earth of Kazakhstan is full of iron and gold, coal, nickel and raw materials. Also Kazakhstan is rich in mineral resources.

There are many big industrial centers in Kazakhstan such as Karaganda, Almaty, Semey, and Shymkent. Our president now is Nursultan Nazarbaev. The president is elected every seven years.

My name is ... I am seventeen (sixteen, eighteen). I live in Kostanay

I like my future profession and I am going to do my best to become a good specialist. I live with my family. It is large (small, not very large) and very good. We love each other very much and always try to help each other and to spend as much time together as we can. I have a lot of friends too. I am fond of reading and playing computer games. My favorite sport is football (swimming, tennis, hockey).
My friends and I often get together to play different games, to go for a walk or to the disco or simply to talk.
I'm fond of chemistry and biology . My hobby is drawing .I like to draw since my childhood .Since the age of six I've been drawing everywere : in my album , in my notebooks , even on the newspapers. I'm happy to have nice frends and a good family . I hope that my dreams will come true and a I will become a teacher.

London is the capital of Great Britain, its political, economic and cultural centre. It’s one of the largest cities in the world. Its population is more than 9 million people. London is situated on the river Thames. It was founded more than two thousand years ago.London is an ancient city. It appeared at the place where the Roman invaders decided to build a bridge over the Thames. There are four parts in London: West End, East End, the City and Westminster.The City is the oldest part of London, its financial and business centre. There are many offices, companies and banks in this part of the capital. The heart of the City is the Stock Exchange. The Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral are situated in the City.Westminster is also important part of the capital. It’s the administrative centre of London. The Houses of Parliament, the seat of the British Government, are there.The official London residence of the Queen is Buckingham Palace. The palace was built in 1703 by the Duke Buckingham. The daily ceremony of the Changing of the Guard takes place in its courtyard.There are many museums in London. For example, the British Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum. The British Museum is the biggest museum in London. The museum is famous for its library — one of the richest in the world.

Our university

I think everybody knows that education is necessary to be successful in our life. I would like to work in the field of science and pedagogy in the future and become a professional teacher of chemistry. To get my profession I need a university graduation. So after finishing school I passed the entrance exams and entered Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute, the faculty of                                                 . It will be a long course – 4 years of hard and constant studies: lectures, seminars, practical classes and test periods. The academic year lasts for 10 months and there are vacations twice a year: in winter and summer.  The University is very old, it was founded in 1939 in the centre of the Kostanay town. Today it gives students an opportunity to choose higher and post-graduate educational programs for many pedagogical professions. The education is provided by qualified specialists, professors and doctors. There are 7 faculties at the Institute which enroll more students.   There are the faculties of Music and Art, Foreign languages, Psychology, History and Philology, Pre-school education and many others. The Institute includes 9 floors with spacious classrooms, a modern library, a reading-room, well-equipped laboratories and workshops, computer rooms, gymnasiums and dining-rooms.  I’m sure that studying at Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute will give me much knowledge, in theory and practice, and prepare me for effective and interesting work.

My working day

My working day begins early in the morning. I get up at 7 o’clock in the morning. I do my bed and go to the bathroom to wash my face and hands and brush my teeth. Then I comb, get dressed and go to the kitchen where I make breakfast. I usually have porridge, a cup of tea, bread and butter. After breakfast, I leave my place and go to institute. My institute is not far from my house.  My lessons begin at 8.30 and finish at 3 p.m. As a rule I have 5 lessons every working day. After each lesson we have a break. During breaks, we have a rest, discuss the latest news, problems and have a snack.At 3 o’clock the classes are over and I go home. After dinner I do some work about the house. I wash dishes, go shopping and get down studying again. I spend a great deal of time on my lessons. When I am through with my study 1 rest a little. I listen to music, look through the newspapers or magazines, phone my friends and relatives, watch TV, read books. Sometimes my friends call for me and we go for a walk. At 10 o’clock when I am tired, I go to bed

We have a nice apartment in a new apartment building. Our apartment is on the fourth floor, it has all the modern conveniences: central heating, gas, electricity, hot and cold water, elevator and Muso roprovod. The apartment has three bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, hallway. Living room - the largest and most comfortable room in the apartment.

The bedroom is smaller than the living room, and not so bright, because only one window in it.In this room there is a built in wardrobe with hanging clothes kami.the warmest place in our apartment - a kitchen, a place where the whole family gathers every evening not only to have dinner together, but also to talk and relax.The third room - my office. It's small, but very cozy. In her little furniture, only the most necessary. There is a desk with a chair. In the right corner - a bookcase with books
