A famous clock in London.
Very big and beautiful.
Big Ben is the nickname of the Great Bell
Inside the Elizabeth Tower in London. For
Over 160 years, it has been striking every
hour, becoming a famous symbol of the
United Kingdom

Big Ben

Tower of London

An old castle.
Now a museum.
The Tower of London is a historic
fortress on the banks of the Thames.
For nearly 1,000 years, it has served
as a royal palace, a prison, and a
treasury.

Buckingham Palace

Home of the King.
People watch the guards.
Buckingham Palace is the official London
residence of the British monarch. It has
775 rooms, and the Changing of the
Guard at its gates attracts thousands
of tourists every day.

Stonehenge

Very old stones.
A mystery place.
Stonehenge is an ancient stone circle built
about 5,000 years ago. No one knows for
sure whether it was a temple, an observatory,
or a healing place.

London Eye

A big wheel.
Great city view.
The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the
banks of the Thames, built in 2000. It stands
135 meters tall, and one full rotation takes
30 minutes.

Tower Bridge

Famous bridge in London.
Very beautiful at night.
Tower Bridge is a bascule bridge in London, built
in 1894. Its towers are in Victorian Gothic style,
and the raising leaves go up in just 5 minutes.

Castle in Scotland.
On a hill.
Edinburgh Castle sits atop an extinct
volcano in the heart of Scotland's capital.
It is over 1,000 years old and houses
the Honours of Scotland.

university in the world. It began teaching as
early as 1096 and is made up of 39
independent colleges.

Windsor Castle is a royal residence in the United Kingdom, located in the city of Windsor (Berkshire), approximately 30-40 km west of London.
