Last week;
Last month;
Last year;
Two days ago;
Years ago;
In 1975.

She didn’t go surfing last week.

Did she see this film?
Did he jump yesterday?

Why did you visit?
When did she speak to him?

Exercise 2

Hello, I’m Kate. Our family likes to travel. Last summer we spent our holidays near the river. We slept in a tent. We had sleeping bags but the nights were so warm that we didn’t need them. During the day dad and Greg, my brother, fished a lot. Mum and I swam in the river. My swimsuit was blue, mum’s was green. I used my new flippers. I swam very fast with them. We cooked our food on fire. It was delicious.
I usually ask my parents: “Where are we going to next summer?” They say that we are going to visit Turkey. It is a sunny and hot country. We’re going to buy a new swimsuit and sunglasses for me and swimming trunks for Greg. I’m going to swim a lot and learn to dive. I’m sure it will be a great holiday.
Where did Kate spend last summer? Near the river _
