What is a career?
Career - The successful promotion in
official, social, scientific and other
activities; moving up the career ladder.
By opting for a career, we have to define
their own motives of professional activities
that allow in the future to direct search for a
satisfactory job.
Types and stages of career
Professional career - growth of knowledge and skills.
Professional career can follow the line of specialization
(indentation in the one selected at the beginning of a career
path, motion lines).
Within the organizational career - is related to the trajectory of
movement of the person in the organization. It can go on line:
1. vertical career - job growth;
2. horizontal career - promotion within the organization, for
example, work in different departments of the same level of
the hierarchy;
3. centripetal career - promotion to the core of the organization,
the control center, all deeper inclusion in decision-making
processes.
