Task 1. Imagine that you are preparing a project with your friend. You have found some interesting material for the presentation and you want to read this text to your friend. You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, then be ready to read it out aloud. You will not have more than 1.5 minutes to read it. If we do not die young enough, we become retired. In the world, where young, energetic and educated people cannot find jobs, the sole source of income for many retired people is pension.  In the Soviet Union there was a solidary pension system, in which retired people received pensions from taxes paid by working people. In many post-Soviet countries pension reforms involve transition to the accumulating pension system, in which people save parts of their income, from which, with accrued interest, their future pensions will be paid.  Many countries have accumulating pension systems. One of the countries where this system exists in almost its classical form is the USA. Only a rather small pension is provided by the state there. Many European countries offer some combinations of the solidary and accumulation systems, and few offer solidary systems. In many countries social security standards are so low that people have to rely entirely upon their savings and their families in the older age.  In the USA and other countries with accumulation pension systems, people may expect some small benefits and even pension from the government, but basically they have to take care of their future pensions themselves. Large corporations usually offer pension saving plans to their employees. But that is not too much
