Something about her…
•She’s a beautiful Italian actress.
• She was born in 1934
She is one of the last living movie stars of Hollywood's Golden Age and ranks 21st on the American Film Institute's list of the 100 Greatest Stars in the History of American Cinema.
The film "Bread, love and ..." (1955), where Sophie played opposite Vittorio De Sica. This role brought her really great fame in her native country.
Also, she won two Oscars:
Oscar winner (1962, 1991)
Golden Globe Award Winner (1964, 1965, 1969, 1971, 1977)
And the most important thing: In 1961, she made history as the first actress to win an Oscar for a foreign-language performance in Two Women.
