The theme of the lesson. The teacher says a colour. The
pupils point to the corresponding crayon/ coloured pencil. The
pupils listen to the Where’s the rabbit? song and sing it. . The teacher puts the My pets! poster on the
board and points to each animal and present
them. The pupils repeat. Then points to each
animal in random order and asks the pupils to
say the word. The pupils listen to the track 50
CD1 and repeat. The teacher sets the scene by
asking the pupils questions.
T: Look! What pets are therein the magic school?
Cl: Rabbits, birds, a cat, a frog, a tortoise and a
dog!
T: yes! The pupils listen to the track 51 CD1 and
follow along. The pupils look at the pictures, read
the dialogue and tick the right picture. The pupils
listen to the track 52 CD1 and circle the correct
pictures. The pupils listen to the track 53 CD1
and sing the song. The groups sing the assigned
verses.
The teacher puts the My Pets! poster and says: I spy with my
little eyes beginning with “p’. the pupils look and try to guess
the animal
