A green bean project

Vicky's grandfather loves to grow plants. Last week, Grandpa gave Vicky some green bean seeds. It her, as she didn't think she could grow her own green bean plant. Vicky brought the seeds home to her mom. She helped Vicky with her green bean project. First, they put some soil in a pot. Then they planted a few seeds. The girl I—E] that plants need water and sunlight and put the pot in a sunny spot by the window and watered it.

She checked the plant every day. When it was dry, Vicky added some water. Finally she a tiny leaf. The plant was growing! Over the next few weeks, more leaves would grow. Then flowers would follow. Vicky was  about the fact that she would eat the beans she had grown herself.
