Present Continuous: now, at the moment or tonight

Present Perfect Continuous: for 2 ( 5, 10,...) years; all the morning, all day, all night, the whole day or since

❇️PRESENT SIMPLE: когда хотим показать, что действие является регулярным.
E.g.I play football with my dad every Sunday. – Каждое воскресенье мы играем с папой в футбол.
Every day she gets up at 7 o'clock and goes for a walk with her dog. – Каждый день она встает в 7 утра, идет гулять с собакой.
Why do you spend time with us so rarely? – Почему ты редко проводишь время с нами?
It was unexpected. They don`t go to the gym, because they are couch potatoes. – Это было неожиданно. Они не ходят в спортзал, потому что они лежебоки.
❇️PRESENT CONTINUOUS:
✔️действие происходит в данный момент, сейчас, во время разговора
I am looking at the window and I am cooking breakfast for the whole family. – Я смотрю в окно и готовлю завтрак для всей семьи.
✔️планы на ближайшее будущее.
We are going to the performance tonight? – Мы идем вечером на представление?
✔️когда мы говорим о раздражающих привычках
She is always running behind the schedule. – Она всегда опаздывает.

В Present Continuous не употребляются глаголы:
to belong – принадлежать;
to own – владеть;
to hope – надеяться;
to want – хотеть;
to hear – слышать;
to believe – верить;
to understand – понимать.
❇️PRESENT PERFECT:
✔️упоминаем действие, которое только произошло
E.g.I have just closed the door. – Я закрыл дверь только что.
✔️действие было совершено в прошлом, но мы видим последствие и результат в настоящем
I have made a very tasty cake. – Я приготовила очень вкусный пирог.
✔️наличие или отсутствие опыта
Have you ever been to South Korea? – Ты когда-нибудь был в Южной Корее?
Yes, I have been to South Korea. – Да, я была в Южной Корее.
No, I haven`t been to South Korea but I have been in Singapore. – Нет, я не был в Южной Корее, но был вСингапуре.
❇️PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS:
✔️непрерывное действие - началось в прошлом и продолжается до сих пор
E.g.We have been living in Seoul for 5 years. – Мы живем в Сеуле уже 5 лет
How long has she been cooking this delicious pasta? – Сколько же она готовила эту вкусную пасту?
They haven`t been cleaning their house for three or four weeks. – Они не убирались дома три или четыре недели.
