Introduction

Actuality. The head of Udmurtia, Alexander Brechalov, declared 2021 the Year of the Village.  Within the framework of the Year of the Village, changes should affect not only the social and engineering infrastructure, but also the attitude of the residents themselves to their small homeland. So that they feel their importance and realize for themselves that they are capable of a lot. To unite with one idea – their village is worthy of developing, it should be better than others. So that they can say with pride that they live in this territory.

A lot of significant changes had taken place in our village too. One of them is а new educational center « Growth point» in gymnasium.

The problem is that people from other schools of our region do not know about this center.

So, the aim of my work is to tell about « Growth point» in gymnasium.

My objectives:

-                     to find some information about this center

-                     show how we use this center in our school

-                     make photos and captions

In my work I’ve used such research methods as selection and analysis of material.

Center « Growth point»

Our  Gymnasium has existed for more than 30 years. During this time, it achieved high results. But one of the most important event I think the appearance of  the modern center  "Growth Point".

In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of May 7, 2018, to improve the quality and accessibility in the field of education, the Center for Education "Growth Points» project is being implemented. “As part of the project, in September 2020, 157 "Growth Points" were opened throughout  Udmurtia, one of them in the Yakshur-Bodya Gymnasium. It is equipped with modern equipment, there are different zones for studing "Computer Science", "Technology", as well as recreation areas and a chess lounge. This allows the Center to perform the function of developing digital literacy, chess education, project activities, and creative skills among schoolchildren.

Various events are held on the basis of the Center. For example on line meetings with school №1 from Igra. On this meeting pupils changed their experience in performing on-line concerts.

Different on line games are also held in this center.

There was a competition for first aid among students of the 11th form. The children had to remember the theoretical material on first aid and apply it in practice.

Also pupils are taught to play synthesizer.

Students in the technology lessons at the "Point of Growth" have the opportunity to feel like engineers, mechanics and designers. So  with the help of LEGO sets, the children had to make the devices and explain the uniqueness of the  models. Using their imagination and creativity, the boys made a models: a phone stand, and virtual reality glasses.

From the very beginning of the opening of the center   students began to work with "3D" technologies.  Today, some chess pieces have been printed on a 3D printer. The school students are happy, the work continues.

Teachers are constantly improving their skills. It is planned to develop students and parents in various fields: robotics, the world of "Lego", chess, working with a quadcopter, 3-D modeling, and journalism.

Conclusion

The "Growth point" centers are being created in Russian rural schools with the aim of updating the material and technical base, improving the professional level of teachers, providing students with additional opportunities for self-realization, career guidance and the development of modern technological and humanitarian educational skills. Also among them - the popularization of popular engineering and technical specialties, updating the content and methods of training in the subject areas "Technology", "Computer Science" and " Fundamentals of Life Safety”.

I think «Growth point» is the most important place in our village. It is a good opportunity for school students to choose their future profession, and who knows, maybe future designers of space rockets or new ecological cars will come out from the walls of the gymnasium in the near future?
