General purpose application software is a type of application that can be used for a variety of tasks.It is not limited to one particular function.

Special purpose application software is a type of software created to execute one specific task.

Bespoke application software is tailor made for a specific user and purpose

For example

For example a word processor could be classed as general purpose software as it would allow a user to write a novel, create a restaurant menu or even make a poster.

For example a camera application on your phone will only allow you to take and share pictures. Another example would be a chess game, it would only allow you to play chess.

For example a factory may require software to run a robot to make cars, however, it is the only factory making that car in the world, so the software required would have to be specially built for the task.
Other examples might include software for the military, missile/UAV operations, software for hospitals and medical equipment, software being written inside banks and other financial institutions.

A licensing agreement is a written agreement by which the owner of a property gives another party permission to use that property under specified parameters. 

Copyright is a form of intellectual property protection provided by the laws. Copyright protection is available for original works of authorship that are fixed in a tangible form, whether published or unpublished. The categories of works that can be protected by copyright laws include paintings, literary works, live performances, photographs, movies, and software.

A free license or open license is a license agreement which contains conditions permitted to the user from the holder on a specific list of uses for his work, which gives him.

Open source software
is software with source code that anyone can inspect, modify, and enhance

Closed source
 (or proprietary software) means computer programs whose source code is not published. The source code is not shared with the public for anyone to look at or change.

Free software is 
software that can be freely used, modified, and redistributed with only one restriction: any redistributed version of the software must be distributed with the original terms of free use, modification, and distribution (known as copyleft).

Commercial software
is any software or program that is designed and developed for licensing or sale to end users or that serves a commercial purpose.

Instruction:
1. We will divide into 4 groups
2. In the group explore each type of software:
1st group: Open source software
2nd group: Closed source software
3rd group: Free software
4th group: Commercial software
3. After the study, one student of the group is elected as an “Ambassador” and goes to another group to explain his material. the group also shares information.
4. Further, the “Ambassador” returns to his group and sets out the information received..
