to teach pupils to use “Long adjectives. Comparative forms. Dates”, to teach pupils to use the new words in their speech: to become, a present name, to mean, excit¬ing. Letter combination: The [ði:], [ðə]
2) Developing – to develop pupils’ reading, writing and speaking abilities. Listening comprehension.
3) Bringing up – to bring up pupils to love and respect our motherland and capital.

English sounds.
We pronounce the definite article “the” like [ði:] before the words which start with
vowel sounds, and like [ðə] before the words which start with consanant sounds. E.g.:
the [ði:] apple, the [ðə] ball.
