The structure,tips,criteri a for C5,C6 С5 – choosing one photo C6 – comparing and contrasting 2 photos

C5 Imagine that while enjoining yourself last weekend you took some photos. Choose one photo to present to your friend. You will have to speak for not more than 2 minutes. You have to talk continuously. Follow the plan : • -when you took the photo • -what or who is in the photo • -what is happening • -why you took the photo • -why you decided to show the picture to your friend

C5 Tips: • -use a wide range of descriptive adjectives (positive and negative) • Fascinating, amazing, exhilarating, fabulous, picturesque, exciting…tedious, boring, daunting, bland, repetitive, low-motivating… • -use a variety of structures…(useful phrases) Looking at it from his\her perspective I would…it seems\looks\ appears to me… I would say…

Criteria of assessment C5 • Introduction, conclusion • Using different useful phrases (clichés) • Logical structure (using conjunctions and, but, or, yet, so…) • Using descriptive adjectives • Using various grammatical structures • Speaking to the point • Making no grammatical, lexical and phonetic mistakes • Speaking for not more than 2 minutes
