Objective 1
Analyze the key features of culinary festivals, including popular dishes, current trends and economic and social aspects. The influence of gastronomic events on tourism development and image formation of countries and regions will be considered.
Objective 2
Compare the culinary traditions of different countries, focusing on unique and common aspects as well as differences in approaches to organizing cooking festivals. The study will identify the most successful models and practices applicable in different cultural contexts.
The relevance of research on culinary festivals is due to their growing role in shaping the image of countries and regions, as well as in the development of gastronomic tourism. The analysis of these events allows to identify key trends in cooking, assess the impact of festivals on cultural heritage preservation and determine the most effective strategies for organizing gastronomic activities. In addition, cooking festivals play an important role in promoting healthy eating and sustainable development by showcasing innovative approaches to food production and consumption as well as supporting local farmers and producers.
Introduction and relevance
Culinary festivals are not just food holidays, but important events that reflect the cultural diversity and historical heritage of different countries. In the modern world, where globalization is blurring borders, such festivals become a platform for preserving and popularizing unique culinary traditions, attracting tourists and contributing to the economic development of regions. They allow participants and guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of authenticity, get acquainted with local products and unique recipes passed on from generation to generation.

Sagra White Truffle Festival
In Alba, Piedmont, there are annual festivals dedicated to the collection and tasting of white truffles, usually in October-November. It is an opportunity to taste delicious truffle dishes, purchase unique products and learn more about the process of finding and growing truffles.[2]

Shrovetide
Winter send-off celebration with pancakes, songs and folk efstivals. On this day, mountains of pancakes are baked, symbolizing the sun, and noisy fairs with games and fun are organized. To bring spring closer, they burn an effigy of winter.[7, с. 12-14]
Festival "Golden Autumn"
Festival dedicated to the harvest, with tasting of honey, cheese, vegetables and fruits. Farmers from all over the country present their products, there are master classes in cooking dishes with seasonal ingredients. You can taste rare varieties of apples and pears.[7, с. 26-30]
Easter
A holiday with kulichs, dyed eggs and cottage cheese Easter. Kulichi are baked according to ancient recipes, and eggs are dyed in different colors symbolizing life and rebirth. The curd Easter is prepared in the shape of a pyramid, symbolizing the Holy Sepulchre.[7, с. 62-64]

Throughout France there are numerous festivals dedicated to wine, winemaking and tastings. These events offer a unique opportunity to taste the best French wines, learn about the process of their creation and enjoy gastronomic combinations with local cheeses and other delicacies. Among the most famous is the celebration of young wine Beaujolais Nouva. [5]

Every year in Paris there is a chocolate festival, where the most exquisite and unusual varieties of this delicacy are presented. Shokolatje from all over the world show their works of art, hold workshops and tastings. This is a paradise for chocolate lovers and a great opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the world of chocolate art. [10]

Festival dedicated to spicy, fragrant Thai cuisine with a variety of seafood dishes. Visitors can taste the famous tom yam, green curry, pad tai and other hits of Thai cuisine. Local chefs demonstrate unique cooking techniques and use exotic ingredients.[9]
Indian Spice Festival
A festival showcasing the variety of Indian spices and their use in cooking. At the festival you can see and taste curcuma, coriander, cardamom, chili and many other spices that give Indian dishes unique flavor and aroma. Experts talk about the beneficial properties of spices and their use in ayurvedic medicine.[9]
American food fests
Barbecue in Texas
Festivals featuring traditional Texas barbecue made from beef, pork and chicken. These events feature a variety of meats cooked over an open fire, learn the secrets of cooking authentic Texas barbecue, and enjoy live music and a festive atmosphere. [1]
Lobster Festival in Maine
A festival dedicated to tasting lobster, a traditional Maine dish. Here you can taste lobsters prepared in a variety of ways: boiled, fried, baked, in soups and salads. In addition, the festival offers lobster cooking workshops and other entertainment.[1]
