The United States of America                                        The United States of America is one of the largest countries in the  world. It is the fourth largest country in the world after Russia, Canada and  China. It occupies the North American continent. The total area of the country  is 9 million sq km.  It borders on Canada, Mexico and the Russian Federation.  The Atlantic Ocean is to the east and the Pacific Ocean is to the west of the  country.  Official name: The United States of America Status: A federal republic, a union of 50 states Area: 9,364,000 squ. km.
