It started in Ancient Greece, where in the I century B.C. they started to build benches for rest , on which people could sit and speak. Then speakers chose these benches , later regular listeners appeared , so benches for leisure and relaxation became a place of discussions. When such meetings of “teachers” and “pupils” become regular , there was a necessity of creation of special buildings for education. Thanks to the traditions , they called these buildings “schools”.
