The SVAO is considered an area with an avarge or slightly above-avaraje environmental situation
The dictrict is home to many large green spaces such as Losiny Ostrov national park, Main Botanical Garden of the Russian Academy of sciences which improves air quality
The numerous parks and forests areas help purify the air and make the area more comfortable to live in.
The Svao is one of comfortable district to live in.There are many large parks and forests and less pollution then in other districts
However in SVAO is home to over 100 industrial enterprises. Car exhaust pollutes the air and the numerous roads and highways create noise
