They live in the northern and southern parts of African lands. After the elephant, the white rhinoceros is the second largest land animal, because with its four-ton weight, the body length is four meters. The color of the animal does not quite correspond to its name, because it is far from white, but dirty gray.
The white rhinoceros differs from the black one in the structure of the upper lip. In the white rhinoceros, it is wider and flatter in shape. There is also a difference in the way of life, since white rhinos live in small herds of up to 10 heads, black rhinos live in solitary individuals. The life expectancy of these huge mammals is 50-55 years.
