The Flag of the UK. • The national flag of the United Kingdom is called the Union Jack. • The motto of the country is “GOD AND MY RIGHT”.

THE AMERICAN FLAG IS CALLED “STARS AND STRIPES”.TODAY THE FLAG HAS 13 HORISONTAL STRIPES AND 50 STARS IN THE LEFT TOP CORNER. THE STRIPES REPRESENT ORIDINAL 13 COLONIES. 50 STARS REPRESENT CURRENT 50 STATES OF THE UNION.
THE NATIONAL SYMBOL OF THE USA THE BALD EAGLE IS THE ONLY EAGLE UNIQUE TO NORTH AMERICA. IT WAS CHOSEN AS AN EMBLEM BECAUSE OF ITS LONG LIFE.
• ONE OF SYMBOLS OF THE USA IS «UNCLE SAM». UNCLE SAM IS TRADITIONALLY A TALL WHITE- HAIRED MAN WITH A WHITE GOATEE AND STAR- SPANGLED SUIT.

History of Australia • The east coast of Australia was discovered by Captain Cook in 1770.
The official language in AUSTRALIA is English. Its currency is Australian dollar(AUD).
The native birds of Australia are very interesting. The emu, for example, which with kangaroo is represented on the Australian Coat of Arms.
Australian wildlife is unique. Some of its animals such as the kangaro o the dingo or wild dog the koala can not be found in any other countries of the world.
