There are many sights in the city: Trafalgar Square The Houses of Parliament The Tower of London St. Paul’s Cathedral Buckingham Palace Big Ben Hide Park

London is the capital of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

London is an old city. It is more than 2. 000 years old

We start from Trafalgar Square. It is London’s square.

You can see the Houses of Parliament. It is the place where the British Government sits.

The Tower of London

It is an old fortress (крепость) in London. Many years ago it was a prison. Now it is a museum where a lot of ravens live.

St. Paul’s Cathedral is the second famous church in London. The architect is Sir Christopher Wren.

Now we are at Buckingham Palace.

It is a large London park where people go for walk and relax. It is famous for its Speaker’s Corner.
