Данная проектная работа была выполнена ученицей 5 класса. Тема была выбрана ученицей самостоятельно. Проект выполнялся индивидуально, в рамках внеурочной деятельности по английскому языку. Использованы красочные иллюстрации. Ученица пользовалась различными источниками информации, девочка интересно рассказала не только о русских обычаях, но и говорит о традициях своей семьи

An English proverb: Bread is the staff of life.

We celebrate World Bread Day in the 16th of October

History The history of bread dates back several millennia. According to scientific research, the first bread products were made about 8 thousand years ago, they looked like a pellet, prepared from cereals and water and baked on hot stones.

The ancient Slavs baked bread in the Russian stove in the home. Then, feature bread manufacturers took over the bakers.

Originally Russian people enjoyed exclusively bread made from water and rye flour. Wheat flour our ancestors also used, but only for baking cakes for the holidays

Our family tradition Today we can buy bread at the store, but we bake the bread in my family ourselves.

In every family there are different traditions. Family traditions help people to feel themselves part of the whole, strengthen the family unity and simply to enjoy happy memories. I think that the moments spent in the circle of your family are the most precious.

Our family tradition is cooking something from flour:  white bread ;  rye bread ;  wheat bread ;  whole grain bread ;  pies ;  cakes.

We are happy when there is an opportunity to spend time with family members, it's nice to invite relatives for dinner and serve bread made with your own hands…

Today it is the 16th of October, World Bread Day. Remember! HAPPINESS isn’t about getting what you want, it’s about loving what you have…
