Christmas in Great Britain  Christmas is celebrated in the Christian world in different dates and on - to different traditions and customs. Somewhere on a table will put the stuffed turkey, in other place will let out a live carp to the river or will feed with sweets of a bear. And in tropical countries the Christmas Eve is celebrated with shout of a rooster and carnival fun.  Georgia  On the eve of a holiday all members of household dress up in special dresses of handwork and join "Alilo" - traditional procession of believers. All believers who were in time to sew suitable suits by a holiday can take part in procession.  Residents of Serbia will read evening on the eve of Christmas - Christmas Eve or "Badnidan". By tradition of the man together with sons or grandsons go to the wood where find a young oak. The senior has to cut down this oak and bring home. Logs of this oak stack in the center and make fire, they have to burn or smolder three days.  Sacred fire from the center or a fireplace, protects the house and its owners from angry people, troubles and misfortune. There where there are no furnaces and fireplaces, especially in big cities, Christmas sets or bouquets are on sale. It consists of fresh wheat or barley straw, branches and leaves of a dry oak. It is possible to set fire to such bouquets symbolically directly on the street, naturally observing safety measures.

Christmas passes in America very brightly and beautifully. Inhabitants of private houses whittle away the whole fortunes to decorate roofs and a facade of the dwellings with electric garlands. But on it they don't stop. Usually on lawns in front of the house statues and figures in the form of deer, Santa, little Jesus, Virgin Mary and other are established. On all entrance doors the wreaths from needles twisted with red tapes and decorated with striped sugar candies staffs surely hang

From dishes the obligatory turkey stuffed with a grain crumb, cranberry sauce, potatoes and pie.

In Belgium in Christmas Eve to all children display gifts in special festive socks. In the morning before starting a Christmas meal, all family members have to eat the traditional sweet small loaf or "cougnolle" made in the form of the baby Jesus.

Санта comes Клаус not on New Year, and in night on catholic Christmas. In a house he penetrates through the pipe of fire-place, calls at a room and abandons gifts to the children in stockings that they spread on a fir-tree.

Note: on an ancient custom in eve Christmas children hang by the fireplace stockings, that Санта Клаус at night put gifts in him. Appearance of this tradition is bound to Saint Nikolay that is considered the prototype of Санта of Клауса.

Санта moves Клаус in the sledges harnessed by reindeer. The fugleman of team is a famous deer by name Rudolf Red Нос.

once Санта with the team got in dense fog understood that at such weather it will be very difficult him to execute the annual mission on distribution of gifts to the children. For help Rudolf came: his red nose shone through fog, as bright lantern, and Christmas was saved. Since Rudolf became a main and favourite deer Санты, and for him an occasion appeared to be proud of the wonderful nose".
