1)  (слайд №1) (слайд № 2) What does truly HAPPINESS mean? Let’s analyze it.  2) May be it is a lucky career? (слайд № 3) Yes….in modern life this side is very  important for (слайд № 4)    self­actualization;  earning money;   social status and the like.  3) Modern life demands great efforts to provide good life. Men have to work days  and nights to earn money and keep their families. On the one hand (слайд № 5)  good job is a key to happiness. You have money for your necessities and rest, also you’ve got sphere of development, special interests.  On the other hand a lot of  people have to spend all their time apart their families, they have no time to be  with their wives and children, some of them even doesn’t remember when at last  they saw the blue sky. (слайд № 6) As a result wives feel lonely and unhappy;  children grow up without enough attention and love. Then the whole family isn’t  satisfied and there is no happiness in such family. So, I think, it is more difficult now to say if lucky career is a real happiness.  4)  Then… (слайд № 7) young girls dream about breathtaking love, beautiful  wedding ceremony, loving husband, joyful children and happy family.  (слайд № 8) They want mutual understanding in their families, (слайд № 9)  dream to be happy together either in  misfortune or gladness, (слайд № 10) to feel trepidation of waiting a baby, (слайд № 11) to see the growth of happy children,  (слайд № 12) to keep love to the end of their days.  (слайд № 13) But…sometimes this happiness can be broken to pieces by only  the one word (слайд № 14) “DIVORCE!” (слайд № 15) This awful word can  destroy things which were building for a great number of years.  In the end  (слайд № 16) lovers become bitter enemies, (слайд № 17) began to fight for  money, (слайд № 18) children have to make a choice between two persons whom they love equally, (слайд № 19) some of them gets serious psychic diseases;  (слайд № 20) children suffer for their parents’ faults. (слайд № 21) As you see happiness disappeared again like a butterfly.  5) Almost all nationalities have a proverb "money does not bring happiness".   Modern life suggests another wisdom: “Happiness doesn’t depend on money it  depends on its amount”. (слайд № 22) But is it true? To my mind it is mostly a  motto of mercantile people. I think it is easy to show that money doesn’t do  happiness.  6) For example, you (слайд 23) got a chance to buy a car and thought, Man now I’m really going to be happy. Sure it was exiting getting that car. You  loved the way it smelled, the sound system, the ride, the style but now it’s the  time to pay for it… now that we have to write the check for it every month,  most of the novelty and excitement wore off. (слайд № 24) All of a sudden it's just a car. A means of transportation.  1 I don’t want to say that money means nothing. But nowadays it becomes  something like worship. (слайд № 25) Money has become one of the main things  in our modern life. Some people live their lives to earn money. (слайд №  26)They become crazy about it and lose their dignity, humanity hunting money.  (слайд № 27) Then they become prisoners of money. (слайд № 28) They don’t  appreciate such important things as family, friendship, love. At last (слайд № 29)  they stay alone.   To sum up (слайд № 30) I want to say: "nothing must be too much". A lot of  money does not bring happiness, but happiness is impossible without money. But  at least (слайд № 31) money is only a paper with indelible ink and can’t buy  either home or love.  ə  (слайд № 32) Most of us have preconceived [prik n'si:vd] ideas of what  would make us happy, and we refuse to be satisfied until those things happen.  But if those specific things happen in our lives, we’re rarely satisfied with them!   (слайд № 33) Instead, we shift our focus to something even bigger and better,  believing “it” will make us happy or happier.  At the same time I’m sure it’s wrong to understand happiness as total,  7) absolute satisfactory of life. Be happy doesn't mean that we won't have an  occasional bad day. It doesn't mean that the world bows at our feet, jumps at  our every command and pours upon us every hope, dream and desire we have. I want to prove that real happiness is possible if even you have nothing! I want  to introduce you (слайд № 33) Nicholas James Vujicic. He is an Australian preacher  and motivational speaker. Born with Tetra­amelia syndrome, a rare disorder  characterized by the absence of all four limbs he managed to find his own happiness.  (слайд № 35) So, I think that storms and failures are a part of our lives. (слайд № 36)  8) The Storms...The Failures...The Joys and Pleasures Are All A Part of the  Happiness. And happiness can be felt only because of constant changing of  satisfaction and dissatisfaction. If we had only satisfaction, with total absence  of dissatisfaction, we wouldn’t be able to feel pleasure. 9) I'm sure that I’m a happy person. (слайд № 37) For being happy:   (слайд № 38) I set aims and achieve them.   (слайд № 39) I always try to smile and to have a good sense of humor.  (слайд № 40) I allow myself to be sometimes childish.  (слайд № 41) I am open to people and I’m ready to cooperate.  (слайд № 42) I try to keep high self­appraisal.  (слайд № 43) Except work I find time for myself.  (слайд № 44) I have loving friends and parents.   I try to enjoy every day of my life and be happy all the time: to smile when I    wake up because of the bright sun shining directly into my window, to feel  happiness somewhere deep inside playing snowballs or swimming in the sea, to  2 feel pleasure when I see a child happily laughing or when I look at a large rainbow after a downpour.  So, I’m happy and wish you the same! (слайд № 45)   3
