II Постановка темы, цели и задачи урока
-Today we have an unusual lesson. You will work in 3 groups. For each correct answer you will get such smile. The group, which will have the largest number of these smiles, will get excellent marks.
- Before we begin our lesson you should choose the captain and the name of your group. Please, write the name of your group on these sheets of paper.
- Let’s begin our work.
- We’ll start with a famous song by Michael Jackson. It is called the Earth Song/ You will watch a fragment of this song and while listening think and make notes about the most important problems mentioned in his song.

- We’ll speak about our planet, nowadays people face many ecological problems, so we’ll think how we can help to keep the environment and save our planet. Our topic is “How to protect our Planet”. - You can see the motto of our lesson on the board. Who’d like to read it aloud? “If you don’t think about the future, you will not have it”. (Если ты не подумаешь о будущем, у тебя его может не быть). How do you understand this motto? III Основная часть урока 1. Активизация лексических единиц по теме 1 раунд – Домино – Translate my phrases on the blackboard. -Let’s revise the words on our today’s topic. We’ll play the game “Dominoes”. Each group has the cards with the words in English and Russian, I’ll put the first word on the board. You can see the one word is in English. 2. 2 раунд - Изучение нового учебного материала: расширение лексического запаса учащихся по теме: «Проблемы экологии».
Учащимся предлагается выполнить упражнения учебника. Упражнение 11 стр. 41 готовит учеников к чтению текста упражнения 12 и предлагает прогнозировать содержание текста. Упражнение 12 содержит текст с новыми лексическими единицами по данной теме. Иллюстрацией к тексту является компьютерная презентация. Учащиеся должны прочесть текст про себя, проверить свои предположения, дать заголовок к тесту. Упражнение 13 содержит алгоритм работы с незнакомыми словами из текста. Данное упражнение выполняется в парах. Упражнение 14 предполагает развитие умений письменной речи и дальнейшей тренировки новых лексических единиц.
Речь учителя: The problem of the protection of the environment is one of the most crucial problems of these days. Have a look at ex. 11. Choose seven phrases which we can find in the text. what environmental problems do you think are discussed in the text? Prove what makes you think so.
Now let`s read ex. 12 and check your ideas. You have got 3 min. Give the title to the text.

3. Закрепление учебного материала.
Учащимся предлагается выполнить упражнение учебника для закрепления изученного материала. Упражнение 15 стр. 44 нацелено на поиск синонимов к новым словам из текста. При необходимости следует перевести новые слова. Упражнение 16 содержит вопросы к тексту для контроля понимания содержания текста. Учащиеся должны ответить на вопросы, используя содержание текста и свой жизненный опыт. Упражнение 17 предлагает найти предложения в пассивном залоге и перевести их на русский язык. Упражнение 18 предлагает найти и выписать из текста слова, которые образуются путём прибавления суффиксов –tion, -al и путём конверсии. Это упражнение целесообразно дать учащимся в виде самостоятельной работы как форма текущего контроля.
Речь учителя: Have a look at ex. 15 and choose the words with the same meaning. Thank you. Now let`s answer the questions in ex. 16. The next task is to find the sentences in the Passive Voice and translate them. Look at ex. 18, write down the words which match these rules and translate them.

I see that you are tired let’s have a minute of relaxation. (звучит расслабляющая музыка со звуками живой природы) Sit comfortably. Close your eyes and imagine that you are in a forest near the lake. You are lying on the green grass. The weather is fine, the sun is shining brightly. A light wind is blowing from the sea. The birds are singing. Your brain relaxes. You are relaxing. The air is pure, breathe in, breathe out. (Pause). Now open your eyes. To live in a clean world we should start with ourselves.

VI. Подведение итогов.
- Our lesson is almost at the end and I want you to look at the blackboard. There is a picture of a bold tree here. It hasn’t leaves because of a bad ecological situation. You task is to write how everyone can help to keep the Earth clean on the leaf which is on your desk and stick it on the tree to make it green. Use the example
