Цель урока: Актуализация лексики по теме «Средства массовой информации»
Задачи урока:
Образовательные: дать представления учащимся о понятиях, связывающих изучаемые лексические единицы в единую систему.
Развивающие: формирование умений сравнивать, обобщать, делать выводы, структурировать изученный материал, развивать умения учащихся работать самостоятельно и в группах, объективно оценивать знания.
Воспитательные: повышать интерес к изучению английского языка, воспитывать культуру языкового общения, уважительного отношения друг к другу, умение внимательно слушать собеседника.
Оснащение урока:
• проектор, задания на аудирование;
• презентация программы «Power Point»;
• тексты на чтение;
• раздаточный материал.
1. Организационный момент. Эмоциональный настрой.
Т: Good morning boys and girls, good morning our guests!
T: I’m glad to see you!
P: We are glad to see you too!
T: Let’s create a motto for our lesson. The motto of our lesson is «We see, hear, speak, do and everything will be OK!» All together!
T: How are you?
P: We are fine, thank you.

People use different Mass Media according to their interests. Your task is to write advantages and disadvantages of this media. You have 5 minute to do this task. Work together and be friendly with each other. If you are ready, let’s begin to fill in the mind map.
Time is out. Are you ready? If you’ve done it, let’s see what advantages and disadvantages they have. Who wants to answer.

Let’s work by the structure “Corners”. Look at the corners of the classroom. There are words: television, radio, newspaper, the Internet. Choose , please, the corner you like best.
Explain to each other why did you choose this corner.
Student 1: (Radio) I prefer to listen to the radio .I can listen to it while doing my homework .I enjoy listening music. It’s fantastic. I really relax.

me feel better. I really relax listening to music.

St3: I like newspapers best of all .I enjoy reading the news and interesting texts. It’s amazing. I can read it while having my dinner. I enjoy it very much.

St 4.: I like television best of all. I can travel round the world watching TV.I enjoy watching interesting films. I like to watch the news. I really relax watching TV.

- As you told the mass media is divided into different means of communicating: television, books, newspaper and so on. But do you know what the definitions of these words are. I’ll give you cards with the words of the mass media you are to find the right variant according to the main word on the card.

Card II: - a paper printed usually daily or weekly with news;
- broadcasting programs for people to listen to;
- broadcasting programs for people to watch no their TV;
