He was born in 1872 in St Petersburg. He was a  This is Alla Pugachova. His name is Vladimir  Arsrnev. He is Alexander Popov. This is Yuri Gagarin. His name is Mikhail  Lomonosov. writer and a traveler. He travelled and studied the plants and animals of the Far East. He was a  member of Russian Geographic and British  Royal Geographic Committees. 5. He was born in 1859 in the family of a priest. He was interested in car constructions when he was  a child. He studied Physics in St Petersburg  University. He was an inventor of radio. 6. This man was born in the village Klushino in  Smolensk Region in 1934. He joined the  aeroclub and began to fly when he was a student  in Saratov. He was the first astronaut in the  world. The name of his spaceship was “Vostok”.  After his flight he visited many countries and  saw millions of people. 7. He was born near Arkhangelsk in 1711. He  started to read when he was a little boy. He  wanted to study and when he was 19 he went to  Moscow. He was a politician, a historian, a  geographer, a painter, a scientist. Many Russian  people call him a father of Russian Science.
