1)      Hello Friends, You know, many different ways exist to master the language at school. I’d like to suggest one of the best, to my mind, through the singing. Why do I think so and started to  lead this blog, because after my performance on the stage with  «Believer»  written  by  IMAGINE DRAGONS I was asked by students to teach them to sing and play this one. I’m not a very skillful guitar performer and I don’t look like the best singer but I’ll try my best.

Attention! During the listening you are able to hear the expressions which can be used in your active vocabulary such as: TIRED OF, DON’T TELL ME, LET THEM.I hope this song will help you to overcome the difficulties which you have tired of and  don’t tell me that you don’t know what way to let them down. 2 )Nice to meet you again, Friends! We haven’t seen for ages. I hope you’re fond of «Believer», and right now I’d like to represent one more song. This one suits to my loving occupation. I mean singing. It’s called «Sing» by Travis.

As usual pull out the expressions you need for enlarging  the vocabulary « something is going to be right», «you’ve been waiting», «for the love».

I’m sure that for the love to singing your English is going to be perfect because you will have been waiting for the next performance «Dancing».

3) Time is up, Friends! Time for «Dancing» written by Aaron Smith .Step by step you get the chance to sing the verses you like. But don’t forget, please, to take out expressions which are necessary when you lead the conversation. They are : «till dusk and down», «I don’t know why», «what makes me whole».

I strongly believe that your way of performing this song till dusk and down will make you a good singer. But I don’t know why you aren’t dancing until you’re singing. I beg your pardon, I’ve forgotten that you’re playing guitar and singing.

This course is called «All around the year» and consists of 12 songs + 1 should be written by you. If you managed to write your own song or verses it means your 12 months were not useless.

    Furthermore you’ve mastered the vocabulary but only with the help of grammar your English will be clear and understandable to everyone. That’s why the next coming lessons will be based on grammar.

                                                SSESSION 1

When we talk about English Grammar, we usually compare it with Russian one .It is not worth doing. In the session 1 I am not going to use Russian Grammar at all. Let me start.

Firstly, we have to settle what abbreviations and shortenings we use here: v-verb, subj-subject, etc in common rules as in grammar reference.

In English we have a deal with the action in certain state of the period in time: Indefinite (Simple), Progressive (Continuous), Perfect. In the Present Tense, in the Past Tense, in the Future Tense.

Indefinite – means that the action without beginning, ending, period of time. The action is regular, repeated, expresses the state of the weather and we do not know how long it takes to be  performed. That is why another name (Simple) is used too.

Progressive – the action in the constant state of performing, unbreakable, at the moment of speaking, frequently repeated, temporary situations and we used to name Progressive Tense – Continuous.

Perfect – already performed action which is connected with the result, or happened, or completed. Usually is connected with personal concern, experience, change which has happened.

                                            SESSION 2

Auxiliary Verbs we use to form Tenses in their interrogative, negative variants but they have the twins which have lexical meanings: forms of the verb “to be” (am,are,is,was,were,have been,has been,had been,will be,will have been,would be,would have been – in active voice), the verb “to do” (do,does,did,done), the verb to have (have ,has ,had,will have,would have), will.

For the actions in the Present Indefinite Tense: do, does “What DO you do at home?” “What DOES he do at home?” “I DO NOT like cakes.” He DOES NOT like cakes.

Declarative sentences V/V(s) “I sleep at home” “He likes cakes”

Actions in the Present Progressive Tense are provided with auxiliary verbs: am,are,is, + v(ing)

In the interrogative sentences auxiliary verb is before the subject this is called – back order of the words in the sentence. And in the negative one we add “ NOT” to the auxiliary verb.” ARE you waiting for the car in here?” She IS not sleeping at the moment”

In the declarative sentences subject is before predicate which consists of auxiliary and main verbs. “ We ARE sitting now.”

                                                    SESSION 4

 The Present Perfect Tense – HAVE/HAS( for he,she,it ) + V3(irregular verbs)/V(ed) – for regular.

The same word order . In the interrogative sentences auxiliary verb is before the subject. And in the negative one we add “ NOT” to the auxiliary verb.” HAS she visited her friend?” “We HAVE not eaten the pie.”

Declarative:” They HAVE acted well.”
