Тема: Достопримечательности Лондона

Цель деятельности учителя: систематизация и контроль    сформированных умений и навыков учащихся в разных видах речевой деятельности                   

Задачи:

 образовательная: активизировать употребление лексики по теме «Визит в Британию», обобщить и закрепить грамматический материал по темам:«Артикль с географическими названиями», «Степени сравнения прилагательных», формировать произносительные  навыки; совершенствовать навыки  восприятия иноязычной речи; совершенствовать коммуникативные  навыки.

развивающие: развивать способности учащихся осуществлять продуктивные и рецептивные речевые действия, способности к языковой догадке, развивать воображение;

воспитательные:  воспитывать толерантное отношение  и прививать интерес  к культуре и истории других страны изучаемого языка;  воспитывать потребность практического использования языка, формирование чувства ответственности при работе в паре.

       Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации предметных знаний, умений и навыков

Ожидаемые результаты:

а) предметные: научить строить монологические и диалогические высказывания по шаблону или с опорой, развитие умений учащихся оперировать известными понятиями;

б) личностные: показать значимость умения решать коммуникативные задачи через диалог, расширение кругозора, творческих  способностей учащихся,  формирование коммуникативной компетентности учащихся;

в) метапредметные: формировать способность и готовность вступать в иноязычное общение, развивать навыки смыслового чтения.

 

Формирование УУД:

личностные: формирование  интереса к овладению английским языком ; формирование бытовых навыков: знание названий достопримечательностей   

 регулятивные: применение  знакомого языкового материла по теме «Поездка в Лондон» в речевой ситуации; умение решать проблемные ситуации и принимать решения; умение распознавать в тексте нужную информацию;

познавательные: умение  делать выводы, выделять причинно-следственные связи (ответы на вопросы по  прослушанному тексту); увеличение словарного запаса обучающихся  (отработка и закрепление ЛЕ по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона»);

коммуникативные: способствовать формированию готовности к иноязычному общению,  воспитанию доброжелательного отношения друг к другу и культуры поведения; уметь воспринимать  иноязычную речь на слух (речь учителя, ученика, диктора); владение монологической речью; практическая подготовленность ученика (подставить уже знакомые слова в текст).

 

Формы работы учащихся: индивидуальная, групповая, фронтальная, парная.

 

Необходимое техническое  оборудование: интерактивная доска, презентация, раздаточный материал, учебник.

 

Ход урока.

 

 

I. Организационный момент

- Good morning, dear childrenHow are you today? Sit down, please. My name is Nazima Binyamudinovna. I will be your English teacher for today.  And I hope our lesson will be interesting for you.

- Who is on duty today?

II. Постановка цели и задач урока. Мотивация учебной деятельности учащихся.

-Do you like to travel? 

-Have you ever gone abroad?

- What countries do you want to visit?

Today we are going to visit some interesting place. And I want you to try to find out what place it is. Look at the screen, please.

- How do you think what city it is? 

-  My dear friends you are so clever! It is really London. Children, have you ever been to London? Would you like to visit it?

As you could guess the theme of our lesson is “London sightseeing tour”.  Today we are going to visit some interesting places in London. We`ll do some exercises, work in groups, play and sing a song.

                        But I think you must know English well to make your trip. Let`s see whether you are ready to travel.

                        a) Let`s find a house for each word. We`ll see how you know the rules of reading.

The Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, the British Museum, St.Paul`s Cathedral, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge.

 

III. Речевая разминка.

- As you know the English like to talk about the weather. And what is the weather like today? Look through the window.

- Do you like such weather?

- Are there any clouds in the sky?

- Was it rainy yesterday?

- Was it hot on Tuesday?

- Now let`s remember the poem about the weather.

T. When the weather is wet

P. We must not fret.

T. When the weather is cold

P. We must not scold.

T. When the weather is warm

P. We must not storm.

-Be thankful together whatever the weather.

- Do you agree with the last sentence? Is there bad weather?

- All of you dream of visiting London. And today your dream will come true. But how can we get to London? Which transport will we choose? (by plane) 

- Let`s take an imaginable plane and go on an imaginable trip to London.

 

V.Проверка домашнего задания.

We are in London. Before doing the city we must find some keys which will show us the way to this magic place . Look at these gates. They are closed. Your task is to fill in the definite article where necessary and find the keys.

(Ex.10, p.77)

Well done. We’ve found all the keys and now we can take a double-decker bus and go on our tour. London buses are very fast and convenient way to get around the city. It is the symbol of London.

 

VI. Развитие навыков аудирования.

- London is famous all over the world. It is not only the capital of Great Britain but also a city which is visited by thousands of tourists. Now let`s listen to the dialogues and decide how these people are going to the places. Your task is to match each dialogue with the right picture.

 

VII. Развитие навыков диалогической речи
         
-The first two places we are going to visit today are the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. The famous clock Big Ben stands near the Houses of  Parliament. Big Ben is a bell. You can hear it every hour. Its weight is about 13, 000 kilograms.

- To continue the tour you should do a little task. I’ll give you dialogues  but all phrases in it are mixed. You should make up the dialogue from these phrases. 

 

VIII. Физминутка.

-Now let’s get off our double-decker bus at Tower Bridge. Tower Bridge was built in 1894. It is one of the famous bridges across the Thames. It opens and ships go up and down the River Thames. It is next to the Tower of London. and have a rest a little. Let’s do exercises and sing a song. It is called “London Bridge”

 

     IX. Развитие грамматических навыков.

-Well, we continue our tour from the Tower of  London. As you know it is one of the oldest places in London and famous all over the world. The Tower has been many things: a palace, a fortress, a prison, a Zoo. Today  it is the  best known as a historical museum. About 150 people and six ravens live here.

And now we should do a task to go on our tour. I`ll give you the cards with the sentences. Your task is to choose the right word from the brackets to complete the sentences.

1) A double-decker is (higher / highest) than a usual bus.

2) The shop windows in London are (more beautiful / beautifuler) than in our town.

3) The weather in London is (badder / worse) than it was yesterday.

4) High Street is (narrower / the narrowest) in the city.

5) The Thames is not as (long /longer) as the Moskva River.

-Now I want you to watch the video and learn some information about London.  Get ready to write a quiz after the video watching. Take your cards, please. I`ll give you short pieces of information with some gaps. Your task is to fill in the gaps to complete the sentences.

 Open your copy-books, write down the date. Are you ready to watch the video?
