Тема урока: «Sport in our life» (Спорт в нашей жизни)
Тип урока: Обобщение и систематизация знаний.
Мета уроку: систематизировать знания обучающихя по теме «Спорт», развивать навыки монологического высказывания, формировать слуховое восприятие английского языка, познакомить обучающихся с экстремальными видами спорта, отрабатывать навыки работы в малых группах, повышать мотивацию к выбранной профессии, толерантно относиться к мнению собеседника.
Методы обучения: наглядно-иллюстративный и словесный.
Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер, презентации, тексты для чтения, видеоролик.

Ход урока
I. Организационный момент.
Teacher: Good morning, dear friends! Good morning, dear guests! I’m glad to see you. Welcome to English lesson! How are you today? Are you in good mood? Is everything ok? I’m fine too. If you are ready, let’s begin our lesson.
II. Мотивация учебной деятельности обучающихся. (слайд № 1)
Teacher: Today we are going to have a very interesting lesson.
At the beginning of our lesson let’s do this exercise. I want that you’ll try to guess the topic of our lesson? Read the poem, but the first letters are absent, your task is to find the letters and guess the topic of the lesson. Read the word from the top to down - acrostic (acrostic – акростих, стихотворение, в котором первые буквы строчек образуют слово. Читаем сверху вниз)

Teacher: So now let’s speak about the importance of healthy food may be for sportsmen and for people in general. On your desks there are cards and I suggest you to find the answers on the following questions: (слайд № 10)
1) What are the benefits of eating healthy food?
v People who eat healthy food, feel and look better.
v They have fewer medical problems and miss less days from work or school.
v People who eat healthy food also feel more energetic and live longer than people who don’t.
2) Is it important to take vitamins?
v You can get all the vitamins you need from the food you eat, but taking a multi- vitamin once a day is a good idea.
v Multi- vitamin can be taken once a day after eating.
v If you take a multi- vitamin, be sure to check the expiration date on the bottle.
3) How many vegetables and fruit should we eat?
v We should eat ¾( three fourths) servings of vegetables and fruit a day.
v It is important to eat green and orange vegetables like cabbage and carrots every day.
v Fresh fruit and like apples and oranges are best.
v Avoid eating canned fruit because they contain too much sugar.
4) Are sweets good for your health?
v Sweets are bad for health and teeth.
v Avoid eating too many sweets.
v Buy a juicer and make fresh juice instead.

Teacher: There are many ways to be healthy. One of them is eating healthy food. Eating fresh fruit and vegetables can reduce your chance of getting diabetes and heart disease. I suppose you’ll eat only healthy food. Let’s do the next exercise. Try to guess the word according to its descriptions.
