Speech

Прямая и
косвенная речь

Косвенная речь- речь, передаваемая не слово в слово, а только по содержанию, в виде дополнительных придаточных предложений.

Прямая речь: He has said, «The ship will
arrive at the end of the week.» Он
сказал:”Пароход прибудет в конце недели.“

Косвенная речь
He has said that the ship will arrive at the end of the week. Он сказал, что пароход прибудет в конце недели.

+ “ Open the door!”
He said to ( v ) …

He said to open the door.
- “ Don’t open the door!”
He said not to ( V ) …
He said not to open the door.
