It is known that a cake "Potato" is a wonderful example of a rational  approach in cooking. In Soviet times, this delicacy is often prepared from  waste confectionery: crumbs and scraps of the dough, cookie­boy. Homemade potato cakes in several  cases, tastier made according to GOST,  as every woman is free to use any  source of raw cream. The main  advantage of these sweet products is  that they are prepared without baking.

Sweet potato: origin story Sweet product, which we call "potatoes" because of their shape and color, is known in the  world as "Cakes Runeberg". According to popular belief, the origin of these cakes must  resourceful wife of the Finnish poet by the name of Johan Ludvig Runeberg. In Finland there is a legend that one day the wife of the famous poet got into a difficult  position: urgently needed a sweet treat for her husband and his guest, but at furnace was  nothing. The wife of Runeberg's collected all available in the house crumbs of crackers and  cookies, the remains of flour, some jam and prepared... delicious cake balls.
