(1910 – 1997)
An Albanian Roman Catholic nun, who lived in India, where
she helped the poor and the sick in the city of Calcutta.
She won the Nobel Prize in 1979, and is seen as a typical example
of someone who is very kind, unselfish, and morally good.
Mother Teresa took care of the poor people and
showed the selfness love. It was a relationship of self
giving. Her love was not in the human heart only, but
her love as selfgiving was manifested.
