Пояснительная записка
Итоговая контрольная работа для учащихся 6 классов по английскому языку в форме тестирования ориентирована на программу М. З. Биболетовой, рекомендованной Министерством образовании и науки РФ для общеобразовательных учреждений. Данная работа составлена в соответствии с компонентом государственного федерального стандарта общего образования.
Итоговая работа разработана в 3 вариантах. В работе учащимся предложено 9 заданий с выбором одного правильного ответа. Время выполнения – 40 минут.
В работу включены следующие задания:
1. Чтение. Прочитать текст и выбрать правильный ответ (задания на ответ true\false)
2. Лексика. Проверка лексики по теме «Знаменитые люди»
3. Лексика. Выбор синонимичных слов по теме.
4. Лексика. Пропуски лексических единиц в предложениях.
5. Грамматика. Употребление артикля THE в английском языке.
6. Грамматика. Правильный перевод предложений.
7. Грамматика. Употребление возвратных местоимений в английском языке.
8. Грамматика. Временные формы глагола.
9. Грамматика. Тема «Разделительные вопросы»
Данные темы пройдены и закреплены учащимися в течение учебного года.
Данная работа оценивается баллами. Верный ответ- 1 балл. Максимальное количество баллов- 43.
Отметка «5»- 38 – 43 баллов
Отметка «4» - 30 – 37 баллов
Отметка «3» - 22 – 16 баллов
Отметка «2» - менее 15 баллов

Lord Byron was an aristocrat and a fashionable man. His personality attracted Britain and all
Europe. He brought to his poetry romanticism of his times. He was talented and handsome, noble and
brave. George Gordon Byron was born on January 22nd 1788. He spent his early years outside the capital.
He lived in the north. Later his mother took him to Aberdeen. There they lived for several years. George
went to Aberdeen Grammar School and there is a monument to him outside the school. Later he studied at
Harrow School and Cambridge University. When Byron was 19, he came to London. One day the poet wrote, “I woke up and found myself famous”. It happened after the publication of his autobiographic poem “Childe Harold” in 1812. In summer of 1816 Byron left Britain forever. He travelled around Europe and soon he became a member of the Greek liberation movement, for which he died. But he did not lead the Greeks in battle as he wished. He died of fever.

William Shakespeare, the greatest English writer of drama, was born in 1564 in Stratford-on-Avon. We don’t know everything about Shakespeare’s early life. But we know that he studied at the Grammar School in Stratford, and that he became interested in the theatre when he was still a boy.
In 1586 Shakespeare went to London, where he worked in the theatre for some years before he began to write his own plays.
Shakespeare soon became well-known in London literary circles. Every play that he wrote was good newsto the people of the capital. Queen Elizabeth I liked Shakespeare’s plays, and the actors were often invited to play before the Queen and later before the King James- a great honor in those days. By the end of the 16thcentury Shakespeare and his friends built their own theatre –the famous Globe Theatre.
But Shakespeare had many difficulties in his life. Less talented writers, whose plays were worse than his, often quarreled with Shakespeare and attacked him, the actors in his own theatre sometimes turned against him.
Now people in many countries love and honor Shakespeare for his plays, comedies and tragedies that are still modern and well-known all over the world.
