Тема: “How do you treat the Earth?”
Цель: обобщение и систематизация знаний по теме “How do you treat the Earth?”
Задачи: - совершенствовать лексические навыки по теме “How do you treat the Earth?” и грамматические навыки по теме Present Simple Passive
-развивать навыки чтения и аудирования
- воспитывать любовь к природе и бережное отношение к ней
На уроке использованы следующие методы: наглядный, практический и словесный.
Формы работы: фронтальная, групповая, индивидуальная
Оборудование урока:
I. Техническое оборудование:
1. Переносной ноутбук
2. Медиапроектор.
3. Презентация в Power Point.
II. Раздаточные материалы и средства наглядности:
- Дидактический раздаточный материал (текст стихотворения).
- Карточки с предложениями в активном и пассивном залогах.
Умения и навыки, совершенствуемые на уроке:
- лексические навыки по теме «Охрана природы»;
- грамматические навыки по теме «Present Simple Passive»;
- умение обобщать знания, полученные на уроке и использовать их при выполнении упражнений;
- речевые умения.
Ожидаемый результат:
- знание лексики по теме «Охрана природы»
- владение грамматическим материалом по теме «Present Simple Passive»
- умение рассказать об экологических проблемах своего города

1. Организационный момент

T. Good morning boys and girls! Sit down, please.
T. What date is it today?
P. Today is the tenth of December.
T. What day of the week is it today?
P. Today is Friday.
T. Who is absent today?

2) Объявление темы и постановка целей урока.
T. The topic of our lesson today is “How do you treat the Earth?” (Слайд 1). The plan of our lesson is the following: (Слайд 2)

l 2) doing exercises on the topic “How do you treat the Earth?”
l 3) Present Simple Passive (revising)
l 4) The Earth Day
l 5) presenting projects

T. Let’s read the poem by F. Sherman “Yours and mine” and say what is the poem about.
The sun, the trees, the grass, the sky,
The silver moon that’s sailing by,
The rain and dew and snowflakes white,
The flowers sweet and stars at night!
The song of birds, wind whispering –
Such lovely things to hear and see
Belong to you, belong to me.

1) Работа с лексикой.
T. Let’s revise the words on the topic “How do you treat the Earth?”. Let’s read and translate the following word combinations into English. (Слайд 4).

2) Present Simple Passive. Выполнение упражнений.

T. Read the text and fill in is or are.
l There ____ many ecological problems in our area, but air pollution ___ the main problem of our town. Our factories pollute the air we breath, the water we drink, the land we live on and destroy the ozone layer. Eighteen thousand tons of dust are thrown out. Air__ made dirty and I really think our health __affected. A lot of dangerous waste __carried by winds over great distances. The Earth __ our home. We must take care of it for ourselves and for the next generations. I want to say: People, don’t pollute the air!
d) Выполнение грамматических упражнений. (Слайд 8)
T. Transform the sentences from Active into Passive.
l We pollute a lot of rivers and lakes.

T. Now let’s have rest. You’ll be given card with sentences Active or Passive. You task is to find your partner.

Now we’ll listen to Natasha, who tells us about the Earth Day. After listening we’ll answer the questions. Be very attentive. (Слайд 10)

T. Now we are doing to listen to your projects. Group 1 will tell us about ecological problems in our region and group2 about the solution to them.

T. Now you are going to write a small test. Your task is to transform the sentences from Active into Passive.

You know that there are a lot of ecological problems but we –you and me- can try to solve them. So what should we promise to do and not to do to the environment.
b) T. Your homework is to write a small composition “How I can help the Earth.”
