Урок 87. Резюме для поступления на работу или учебу

Цели: формирование навыков диалогической речи; совершен­ствование навыков чтения на материале прагматического текста; развитие навыков письменной речи (составление резюме).

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

-                 We shall learn to fill in the Curriculum Vitae.

II.  Активизация лексического материала по теме «Профессии»

Игра «Снежный ком»

III.  Закрепление материала по теме «Выбор профессии»

-                  I'd like you to open your textbooks, page 161, exercise 21. Who will read the task? Look through the text from exercise 18, pages 159-160 and find the equivalents of the words and phrases. This exercise is to be written in your Workbooks. Fill in the chart in exercise 9, page 69.

  упр. 21, стр. 161 из учебника. Задание для учащихся - найти эквиваленты словосочетаниям, ис­пользуя материал текстов из упр. 18, стр. 159-160. Данное задание выполняется учениками письменно в рабочих тетрадях (упр. 9, стр. 69).

IV. Формирование навыков диалогической речи

-                  It's time to divide into pairs and discuss some questions from exercise 22, page 161 in your textbooks. One of you will be a famous person and his/her partner will be a journalist. Would you like to meet a famous person? Who will read and translate the first (second, etc.) question? The beginnings of the sentences will help a famous person to answer the questions. Who is ready to act out the dialogue?

-                  The next task for you is reading. At first we shall read the tips and then study Anna Dixon's Curriculum Vitae. It's exercise 23, page 162 in your textbooks. Read her CV to yourself, please. Did Anna manage to reflect all the tips in her CV? What is your reason for thinking so?

-                   You'll have to choose the university to enter in a couple of years. And it is important to know how to fill a CV. Let's learn to do it all together.
