I’d like to invite my friends there and have my birthday party in the park. The USA I’d like to tell you about the USA. The United States of America consists of fifty states. The population is over 200 million people. Washington D.C. is the capital of the USA. The president of the USA lives in the White House. New York is the biggest city in the USA. The rocks in the Grand Canyon are very colourful. They are red, purple, grey and green. Americans like football. A favourite food at football games is hot dogs. In my future I want to visit this country with my friends. I’d like to see Washington and the White  House / New York and the Statue of Liberty / the Grand Canyon and giant redwood trees / an American  football or baseball match. A New Year party I’d like to tell you about a New Year party. It will take place at home because New Year is a family  holiday. Some guests will come to us, so I’ll clean and decorate my room, my father will bring a New  Year tree and my mother will cook tasty dishes. There will be some salad, fruit, roast chicken and  potatoes and of course, a big cake on the table. At midnight Father Christmas will come and bring us  many presents: sweets, toys, nice clothes or other things – I don’t know exact yet. After that we’ll go  outside to run fireworks. I like New Year party because I can celebrate it all night long. Hobby I’d like to tell you about hobbies. A hobby is something we enjoy doing in our free time. So something we do for pleasure, not for money,  is called a hobby. Coin collecting is one of the oldest hobbies in the world. It is known as “the hobby of kings” and “the  king of hobbies”. The jigsaw puzzle is now one of the most popular hobbies. As for me, my hobby is … . I like to… Feelings I feel happy when the sun is shining, when I wake up in the morning in such a beautiful day/ when I get a  present. I feel sad when it’s the last day of my holiday/ when our team loses a football match. I feel  nervous when I travel somewhere by plane / just before the exams at school.  When I’m happy I like to sing songs, dance, listen to music or simply smile. My day I would like to tell you about my typical day. I get up at half past six in the morning. I clean my teeth, take a shower, get dressed and have  breakfast. Then I go to school. After school I relax a bit and do my homework. But my favourite time of day is evening. I sometimes listen to music or read a book. I can play  board games with my parents or talk to them.
