You are going to give a talk about summer holidays. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes (10­12 sentences). Remember to say: how many holidays you have   what places you visited  what you did during the holidays   if you enjoyed the holidays, why? why not? if you have plans for the next holidays You have to talk continuously. Well, I (would like) am going to give a talk about my summer holidays. 1. To begin with, I’d like to say that, in Russia we have school holidays in spring, in summer, in autumn and in winter.  2. Our summer holidays are the longest. They last three months: June, July, and August. 3. Many children spend their holidays in the country. Some boys and girls travel in Russia or abroad with their parents. 4. As for me, I spent my summer holidays very interesting. 5. In June I was at home. I helped a lot about the house: I cleaned my room every day, went shopping and worked in the kitchen garden. 6. I also played a lot. We played chess, football, and tennis with my friends. 7. It was very hot this summer. I went to the river every day. We swam and bathed. 8. In July my parents and I went to see my grandparents. They live in Belgorod. We went there by car. 9. They were glad to see us. We went to the cinema, visited museum, walked a lot about the city. I saw many places of interest. By the way, I took many photos. 10. In August I was at home. I prepared for school. My parents bought me school uniform. They also bought me some textbooks.  11. I enjoyed my holidays and was sorry, that the holidays were over.   Next summer we are going to the seaside. That’s all I wanted to tell you about my holidays. Thank you for listening.
