If All the Seas Were One Sea
Solomon Grundy
If all the seas were one sea,
What a great sea that would be!
And if all the trees were one tree,
What a great tree that would be!
And if all the axes were one axe,
What a great axe that would be!
And if all the men were one man,
What a great man he would be!
And if the great man took the great
And cut down the great tree,
And let it fall into the great sea,
What a splish splash that would be!

Solomon Grundy,
Born on a Monday,
Christened on

Married on

There was a Young Lady of
Niger,
Who smiled as she rode on
a tiger;
They returned from the
ride
With the Lady inside,
And the smile on the face
of the tiger.
There was an Old Man of
Peru,
Who dreamt he was eating
his shoe.
He awoke in the night
In a terrible fright
And found it was perfectly
true!
