Modern computer technologies in the work of a subject teacher

A necessary condition for purposeful work on the development of the intellectual abilities of the individual is the organization of their own educational and cognitive activities of schoolchildren. Eastern wisdom says: "You can bring a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink."

The activity is based on the student's personal involvement in the process, when the components of the activity are directed and controlled by him. The educational process takes place in the conditions of a motivated inclusion of a student in cognitive activity, which becomes desirable, attractive for students, and brings satisfaction from participation in it.

One of the stimulating tools, due to which the activity of students increases during the development of educational material in the lesson, is realized through the introduction of an element of novelty, which distracts children from difficulties, captivating and captivating them with its unusualness, the use of peculiar means.

Such elements of novelty using peculiar (computer) means are, for example:

·         Electronic textbooks;

·         Multimedia presentations;

·         Instructional videos;

·         Interactive tasks;

·         Electronic tests.

The use of computer technology in teaching is now becoming increasingly important. For example, systems and simulators based on multimedia have become especially popular in the West, that is, systems of technologies that allow computers to enter, transmit and output such types of data as text, graphics, animation, video, sound, speech. The learning curve of the average student in such programs is 2-5 times higher, and the ability to memorize rises from 35% to 85%.

The electronic textbook is executed in a format that allows for hyperlinks, graphics, animation, speaker's speech, registration forms, interactive tasks, and multimedia effects.

Electronic textbooks have significant advantages over their paper predecessors. Electronic textbooks are practically eternal, are not afraid of wear or aging, take up little space and are very mobile. The electronic textbook is variable in execution: it can be given any form convenient for reading - background color, text, font size; if necessary, with the help of a printer, you can print out part of the textbook or publish it in the required edition as a whole, filling out at your discretion (with respect to copyright).

Easy to manufacture and operate are textbooks made in html format - the main format of the Internet.

The teacher can add material from the electronic textbook, correct it, burn it onto a CD. The electronic textbook provides a self-study mode, the possibility of self-control.

The inclusion of elements of animation and computer games in the textbook enhances its interactivity and attractiveness. The hypertext structure of the textbook allows for an individual learning path. However, the hypertext navigation system should be built in such a way that the logic and systematicity in mastering the content is preserved, and gaps in the assimilation of state standards are not allowed.

The electronic textbook provides great opportunities for personal creative work. The teacher and students can participate in the compilation of their own electronic textbook, in adding materials or assignments to it, without significant costs for reprinting.

The electronic textbook provides an opportunity for the teacher to make changes to it.

Creation of educational computer video films, which are a higher step in comparison with previously used films, as one of the directions of using this kind of technology has become increasingly important in recent years due to the high level of sound and visual clarity of the educational material presented.

Computer video allows modeling and demonstrating geometric bodies of various shapes in space, demonstrating processes and phenomena in dynamics, using bright, saturated, contrasting colors, and recording sound (musical or textual) accompaniment. All this contributes to the development of spatial imagination, attracting more attention to the material being studied. Watching and discussing a video also increases the degree of memorization of educational material, which can be seen from the data below based on the results of a study of the effectiveness of arbitrary memory of senior students, depending on the method of studying new educational material.

The effectiveness of the arbitrary memory of a senior student

·         10% reads with their eyes;

·         26% - hears;

·         30% - sees;

·         50% - sees and hears;

·         70% - discusses;

·         80% - relies on experience;

·         90% - speaks and does together;

·         95% - teaches others.

The systematic use of computer videos and demonstration presentations as a teaching tool develops imagination, abstract and logical thinking, increases interest in the studied educational material and the subject in general. The use of online tests allows you to obtain an objective assessment of knowledge, and the use of interactive tasks allows you to broadly and comprehensively cover the material being passed.

Currently, it has become much easier to conduct lessons using information and communication technologies due to the development of EOZs and TsORrov, as well as the presence of a huge number of electronic developments on the websites of pedagogical communities. The teacher only needs to review the material and adapt it for this category of students and harmonize with the topic of the lesson. Such insignificant time expenditures are paid off by the positive results of cognitive activity, motivation and the level of training of schoolchildren.
