Lesson summary on the topic "Numeral systems" (grade 10)

The purpose of the lesson: repetition of theoretical knowledge and consolidation of practical skills of work in various number systems using situational tasks.

Lesson Objectives:

Learning tasks:

·     repetition of theoretical questions of the topic,

·     consolidation of techniques for working with numbers in various number systems.

 Developmental tasks:

·     development of organizational and control skills of schoolchildren;

·     development of independence, attention, analytical thinking;

·     development of communication competence of students;

·     development of individual practical skills and the ability to work in a group.

Educational tasks:

·     formation of a positive attitude towards knowledge,

·     fostering discipline,

·     fostering a friendly attitude towards each other, a sense of collectivism;

·     formation of the ability to evaluate their activities and the activities of their comrades.

Lesson type: a lesson in improving and applying theoretical knowledge...

 Forms of education: verbal, visual, practical.

Teaching methods: individual work, group work, computer work.

Equipment: set of projection equipment, personal PCs, presentation, didactic materials.

During the classes:

1. Org moment (teacher's introduction):

We are finishing the study of the topic "Number systems", which means that today our lesson will be a lesson in improving the knowledge, skills and abilities that you received in previous lessons. Let's remember what you learned new? What have you learned? Please start your answers with the words: "I know that ...", "I know how ..." (learning answers).

And now it's time to confirm everything that you just talked about, and we can determine how truthful your statements were.

2. Communication of the topic of the lesson, the purpose of the lesson, the motivation of students' activities:

Our lesson will not be quite ordinary. This will be a lesson - a game code-named "Connoisseurs lead the investigation." From the name, it is probably clear that you will ..., that is, try yourself in the role of an investigator. Do you have experience in investigative work? We will gain this experience today, i.e. all the theoretical knowledge and skills we have acquired in previous lessons, we will apply in a new situation (Slide 1).

Since you do not have experience in investigative work, you have to go through a difficult path: first, each of you will need to pass a computer test and confirm the title of "expert", and then apply all your knowledge and skills in the investigation of a crime. It is very difficult to solve a crime alone, so we created 3 investigative and operational groups. Meet:

·     Investigative and operational group №1. Captain - Denis Subbotin.

·     Investigative and operational group №1. Captain - Alexander Sirotkin.

·     Investigative and operational group №1. Captain - Anastasia Sarantseva.

The team captain has the final say in the decision and may disagree with the opinion of his colleagues. All task forces work under my leadership and carry out the proposed tasks as soon as possible.

Of course, your work will be judged. In computer testing, the work of each will be evaluated on a 5-point system. In group work, a correctly completed assignment will bring your group 3 points. Each mistake made in the task, minus 1 point. Additional "Urgency Bonuses" can be earned. The group that completes the task first receives an additional 1 point. The final grade will be obtained as the sum of individual and group work

The scoring process will be monitored by my assistant, Ksenia Smirnova.

Are the rules of the game clear? Are you ready to get started?

3. Repetition of theoretical information at the level of broader generalizations;

Then we start. Each of you will have to confirm the title of "expert". Your task is to answer the questions in 10 minutes and get the maximum grade. When working, you can use writing utensils located at the PC. Is the task clear? I ask you to get to work. (Students perform computer testing and receive grades for this stage of the lesson.)

Well done! You have confirmed the title of "experts", which means that you can be entrusted with a more difficult task - the investigation of a crime.

4. Implementation of practical exercises with a gradual increase in difficulty (presentation);

(Slide 1): Attention! Operative information! There was a bank robbery today. Two unidentified persons entered the vault of the bank and stole gold collectible coins.

(Didactic materials for the lesson are used.)

Exercise 1.

(Slide 2): An investigation team is working at the scene of the crime, which found traces of one of the criminals. Measurements taken in 10s. gave the following results:

Track length - 6.8 cm;

Track width - 7.5 cm;

The distance between the tracks is 17.4 cm.

The information is secret, so it must be encoded in different number systems. Since the assignment needs to be completed as soon as possible, I invite each group to receive a card and complete the coding of the information. You are working on an assignment in a group, at the end of the work you give the card with the answers to my assistant. Time for completing the task - 3 minutes, then checking the results (slide 3).

Well done! You have proven that you know how to work with operational information.

Task 2.

(Slide 4). An investigation team working at the scene of the crime conducted interviews with witnesses to the robbery. Analyzing the testimony of witnesses, I came to the conclusion that not all witnesses were telling the truth. Your task is to check my suspicions. Each group receives a witness testimony card and checks that the example has been correctly followed. If the example is calculated correctly, then the witness was telling the truth. Think about how you can do it quickly. You have 5 minutes. (The correctness of the answers is determined and the signs of criminals are read out), verification of the results (slide 5).

Task 3.

Well done! You did a good job and you already know some of the signs of robbers. But they are not enough to understand: "Who robbed the bank?" It is necessary to conduct an additional interview of witnesses # 1 and # 2. But who are they? (Slide 6) Information about them is encoded. If you can decode it and fill out the investigation report, you can name the witnesses, and therefore the names of the robbers.

The task is carried out in groups independently, the investigation protocols are handed over to the assistant.

5. Student report on the results of work:

·       Who was the witness to the crime? What are their names (Slide 7).

·       Who robbed the bank? What are their names (Slide 8).

My congratulations! You were able to name the names of the robbers, which means that the criminals will be punished. As one of the famous movie heroes said: “A thief should be in prison! And he will sit there! " What is the name of the movie hero? Name the movie? (Gleb Zheglov, "The meeting place cannot be changed")

The crime has been solved, it's time to summarize our work.

6. Lesson summary:

Group captains, rate the actions of each employee in solving the crime on a 5-point scale (captains' performance).

     I, as our immediate superior, must assess your activities. I thank all the employees of the investigation department for their work. You have done a great job, I am pleased with the results of your work.

First, you have confirmed your knowledge of theoretical material on the topic "Number systems", and demonstrated practical skills and abilities.

Secondly, you were able to try your hand at being an investigator, and probably realized that this work is very difficult and difficult, since it requires good knowledge and skills, makes a person constantly think, analyze, reason.

Thirdly, which is especially pleasant, you have shown the ability to work in a team. Each of you has made a contribution to the common cause, which means that your work should be appreciated. My assistant will introduce you to the grades for the lesson. (Grades are announced)

Once again, I thank you for your work and announce a short break. Everybody's Free.
