The purpose of the lesson:
- to acquaint with the purpose of the material, setting material properties.

material in a three-dimensional modeling environment; the scope of the species material: the concept of "shader".

types of material, depending on the task, use shaders for
giving color and shadow to an object.

V Learning new material
- In order to give "vitality" and color to the created models in the Blender environment,
materials and textures are intended. In this lesson we will learn how to add material to an object,
in the next lesson - how to add texture.
The teacher shows you the location of the button that calls up the materials.
In total, Blender uses one of four types of material: Surface, Wire, Volume,
Halo. The most commonly used material is Surface, as its scope of application is
more versatile. That is why this material is installed in the default environment.
For the Surface material, shader setup is important.
The Lambert shader is responsible for creating plastic and smooth surfaces, here
the surface color is adjusted.
The teacher invites the students to view the assignment of the remaining shaders on their own.
It is important to pay attention to adjusting the transparency of the object. Object transparency
configurable using the panel (to access this panel, you must enable the checkbox).
Materials Wire, Volume, Halo are quite specific and are used in special cases,
however, using and configuring them is not difficult, so the study of this material
you can also invite students for self-study.
