Teacher: Good morning, children. I’m glad to see you. How are you? You can see there many guests today and now let’s start our lesson. Who is on duty today?
Pupils: I’m on duty today (лексическая зарядка).
Teacher: Thank you. Now let’s make some phonetic exercises. Look at the blackboard.
Good for you. It’s high time to start our lesson. Look at the blackboard, you’ll see a piece of a famous Russian cartoon. Be attentive and answer the question after it.
Can we say that Winnie Puh is well mannered?(учащимся предлагается просмотреть отрывок мультика и ответить на вопрос).
Ok, what can you say?
Pupils: No, Winnie Puh isn’t well-mannered. Because …(he didn’t wash his hands before meal, he didn’t know how to behave at the table, he ate everything that Rabbit had, he spent too much time at his friend’s place ).
Teacher: And can you guess why isn’t he well-mannered?
Pupils: He isn’t well-mannered because he doesn’t know the rules of behavior.
Teacher: That’s right. And the topic of our lesson is “Rules of behavior”.
Are rules important? Why do we need rules?
Pupils: Yes rules are very important. We need rules to:
- be well-mannered;
- know how to behave in a difficult situation;
- behave correctly;
- not to offend somebody.
Teacher: That’s right. And what kind of rules do you know?
Pupils:
In difficult situations.
At the table. In other countries.
In the countryside. Road
safety rules.
Teacher: Well done. Are you well-mannered? Let’s check. Take the remote voting from your desk and let’s start.
Teacher: Good for you. And now translate me please this proverb – When in Rome do as Romans do. Can you explain the mail idea of it.
Pupils: It means that when you are in unknown place or country you must obey its rules not to be impolite.
Teacher: Yes, that’s right. And your home task was to find Russian equivalents of this proverb.
Look at the blackboard,
Look at the floor,
Look at the window,
Look at the door.
Teacher: Well done. You know that every country has its own set of rules and before we’re going to visit the country we must learn about the traditions and customs of the country. Now look at the blackboard and let’s revise some rules from England. We’ll compare them with our country You can see that there are some similarities and differences between Russia and GB.
Now let’s have a rest.
(Quiet music) Sit comfortably. Close your eyes. Breathe in. Breathe out.
Let’s pretend it’s summer. You are lying on a sandy beach. The weather is fine. The light wind is blowing from the sea. The birds are singing. You have no troubles. No serious problems. You are quiet. Your brain relaxes. There is calm in your body. You are relaxing. (Pause)
You are in good spirits. Open your eyes.
Teacher: And now I offer you to make tips for visitors using our rules of behaviour. I’ll divide you into 2 groups. The first group will make tips for visitors to Great Britain and the second group to Russia. You can see everything you need on the desk.
Teacher: Thank you very much. You worked hard today. I think that all of us understand that there are many rules around us and they are very important in our life.
Was our lesson useful? Why? Can you use the information from the lesson in your life?
Your home task will be. (Names) make list of rules of behaviour of your families, (names) must ……….
Do you understand the task?
Teacher: Thank you for the lesson. Good-buy, children.
