Цель: Введение новых слов и первичное их закрепление

I.      Greetings (Приветствия)

T: Stand up please. Good morning, children.

T: What is the date today? (Какое сегодня число?)

P: It is the 23rd of January today. (Сегодня 23 января)

T: And what is the day today? (А какой день недели?)

P: It is Wednesday today. (Сегодня среда)

T: What is the weather like today? (Какая сегодня погода?)

Ps: It is sunny. It’s cold. It’s windy. (Солнечно. Холодно. Ветрено.)

T: Today, children, we will speak about our “Furry friends”, learn some new words and have a competition. (Сегодня, ребята, мы поговорим с вами о наших пушистых друзьях, выучим новые слова, повторим уже нам известные и устроим командное соревнование. Вы любите животных? Надеюсь, после этого урока вы будете их любить ещё сильнее).

 

II.  Introduction of the new words (Введение новых слов)

T: First of all look at the blackboard please. Here you see different animals. You know some of them. Listen to me first.


Elephant - слон

Lion – лев

Goat - коза

Bear - медведь

Sheep - овца

Cow - корова

Rhino - носорог

Leopard - леопард

Deer - олень

Rabbit - заяц

Goose - гусь

Hen - курица

Duck - утка

Monkey - обезьяна


 

T: Now look at the pictures and translate the animals.

T: Now, repeat after me.

T: Read in chorus.

T: Only girls, read. (Only boys.)

T: Who wants to read all the words?

T: What groups can we divided all these animals in?

P: Domestic and Wild animals.

T: Nice of you. Go to the blackboard, please, and divided them.

III.           Working with the new words (Работа с новыми словами)


- Now children we will travel round the world and have different tasks. I have divided you into 2 commands. The 1st one is Domestic Animals, the 2nd one is Wild animals. For the right answer you will get a “Cat”. Who will have more is a winner. Now let’s start our journey. Close your eyes. (Играет музыка) Open them.

 

1. Puzzles (Загадки)

T: The first station is Furry Friends. Guess my puzzles. (Каждой команде задаются вопросы по очереди. Если команда не знает ответа, другая может помочь).

  • It has a bell on the neck. It gives milk. What is it? (a cow)
  • It has a very long nose. It is huge and grey. (an elephant)
  • It has long ears. It is very fast. (a rabbit)
  • It is furry and brown. It likes honey and jam. (a bear)
  • It lives on the trees. It likes bananas. (a monkey)
  • It has a beautiful mane. It likes meat. (a lion)

(После каждого ответа, на экране появляется животное)

 

2. Collect the animals (Собери животного)

T: The 2nd station is Amazing Сreatures. I’ll give the pieces of the picture. Your aim is to collect them, raise your hands and name it. The 1st command will be the winner.

- Подводятся итоги.

3. Relaxation (Физминутка)

 

T: The 3rd station is Relaxation. Let’s sing the song about the dog whose name is Bingo.

4. Reading (Чтение)

 

T: The 4th station is Pets in Great Britain. Let’s read the text about them and answer the question: What animals did you find in this text?

P: Cats, dogs, birds, monkeys, snakes.

T: Read it once again and fill in the table.

                                         

Pets in Great Britain

Lots of families in Great Britain have got one or more pets. Dogs are the favourite pets and there are about six million of them in Britain. The second favourite pets are cats (about five million) and the third favourite pets are different beautiful birds. They are about two million.

Some families do not keep cats or dogs. They keep other animals as pets in their homes, for example monkeys, snakes.

The English take good care of their pets. They give them nice names: Rover, Racks, Cindy, Misty (for dogs); Albert, Snowy, Fluffy, Tom (for cats); Polly, Chatterbox (for parrots); Guy, Scamper, Shipley, (for monkeys). When they speak of their pets, they say, “He”, “She” (not “It”).

The English give to their pets nice food to eat. They buy food for their pets in pet shops: for dogs – Pedigree, for cats – Whiskas. Birds like to eat corn. The English are pet lovers!

5. Writing (Письмо)

T: The 5th station is At the Zoo. I need one person from each group. You should write down the animals which you can see at the zoo. Write as many as possible. You have 1 minute.

6. Describe the animal (Опиши животного)

T: The 6th station is Animals of India. Now look at the screen. Here you see 2 animals of India. The 1st one is for the Domestic Animals and the 2nd is for the Wild Animals. I’ll give you cards. They will help you to describe your animal. At the blackboard you see adjectives. I’ll give you 2 minutes.

Adjectives: long – short, big – small, thin – thick

T: Who wants to be the first?

 

7. Summing-up

T: And the last station is Final Stop. Let’s count your “Cats”. Very good. The command … is a winner. Cheers!

 

IV. Summing-up

T: Did you like our lesson? What animals do you know now? I like the way you work today.

T: Я думаю, что после нашего урока вы будете больше любить, ценить и уважать животных. Они маленькие, беззащитные и нуждаются в нашей помощи. Берегите животных, ведь они наши маленькие пушистые друзья!
