Тема: We’re going to travel (Мы собираемся путешествовать)
Цель урока: Создание условий для формирования следующих компетенций:
1) речевая: развитие умений в чтении;
2) воспитательная: воспитать черты коллективизма;
3) учебно-познавательная: умение работать с текстом, вычленять главное.
Задачи: 1) научить применять новые лексические единицы, которые будут встречаться в тексте;
2) научиться читать текст с понимание основного содержания;
3) побуждать учащихся к сотрудничеству и принятию совместных решений.
Тип урока: Комбинированный
Оснащение: ПК, мультимедийная установка.
Aim: developing reading skills.
General objective: by the end of the lesson the pupils will be able to comprehend the text and produce coherent utterance on its plot.
Specific objective:
1) presenting and practicing active vocabulary;
2) practicing reading for gist;
3) to organize group work.

There are three groups of pupils here. Each group will get the task. For the first group the task is to answer the questions. 1. Where do people usually travel? 2. When do people travel? 3. How do people travel? 4. What can people do there? 5. People make pictures of the places they visit, don’t they? 6. People don’t travel to see new places and to meet new people, do they?
