План-конспект урока-проекта в 5В классе

По учебнику «Английский язык» для 5 класса (авторы: И.Н.Верещагина, О.В.Афанасьева)

Тема: «The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland»

Цель урока: ученик научится интерпретировать информацию из разных источников в форме комментария (монологического высказывания) и интеллект-карты, составленной в ходе совместной работы.

Ход урока.

1.     Орг. момент: Good morning children! Good morning dear guests. I’m glad to see you all here. Let’s start our lesson.

2.     Включается гимн. Все встают.

-         Mary, come out, please. (Стихотворение “My heart’s in the Highlands”)

-         Look at the map. What country are we going to speak about?

Questions:

  -Where is it situated?

- Look at the screen and answer my questions.

- What is the full name of the country?

- How many parts are there in GB? Name them.

- What are the main rivers?

- What are the highest mountains?

-Who is the head of the country? What is her name? What does she do?

- Does she have a real power? Who has?

- How many houses are there in the Parliament?

3.   Now let’s continue.

Today we have an unusual lesson. You will do projects at the lesson and at the end of the lesson you must be ready to present them.

But look how we’ll work. We’ll make a mind map (somehow “a scheme”) according to which you are to work.

Let’s start. You have the file with a number of cards. First stick the name of your country in the centre of the poster, then draw a line and stick the symbol.

4.     Перепутанный текст. Now I’ll give you the text and you must find the area of your country, but be very attentive the sentences in the text are mixed. And then try to guess and choose the number of population of your country and stick it on your paper.

5.     I asked to bring your gadgets. Now take them and find some information in the Internet. You must find the information about large cities in your country. Look you have cards with the names of different cities of the UK but you should stick only your cities.

6.     Контурная карта. Look at the screen. What can you see? Yes, it’s the map of the UK and NI. Now each group will come out and mark their country with some colour, stick the name of the country and write down the capital.

OK. Look at your mind map and tell me if you can present your project and describe you country.

7.     Now tell me please if today’s lesson  was interesting. Were any difficulties?

8.     Let’s write down your homework. Please take your mobiles and take pictures of your countries. Find some colourful pictures about your countries, some interesting information and bring for the next lesson and be ready to present your projects.
